(rockin restaurant has red walls, ugly paintings on the walls, and loud music. the blue lagoon has blue walls, plants, flowers, and a piano player. )t: which restaurant would you rather go to? talk about it with your parter.let students work in pairs, and tell each other which restaurant they would like to go to and why. when students work, go around the classroom offering help as needed. when they have finished talking to each other, call out several pairs to say their conversations to the class.sample conversation:s1: which restaurant would you like to go to?s2: id like to go to the blue lagoon.s1: why?s2: because there are plants and flowers there.通过对话让学生熟悉谈论的主要内容,为后面的听力做铺垫。step3. listening:ask students to read the instructionslook at the chart and point out the two headings: the rockin restaurant and the blue lagoon. t: you will hear the missing words on the recording. fill in the blanks with the words you hear.play the recording the first time. fill in the missing wordscheck the answers with the whole classlet a student read the completed sentence.通过听力练习,使学生能够更好的掌握目标语言,学习如何运用这些词汇。 step4. pairwork:t: now youve learned more about these two restaurants. which one would you rather go to? will you change your idea? please talk about it whith your partner like section1c.give them some minutes to prepare.show the dialogue.让学生与同桌谈论自己的意见,注意运用make+sb+adj,通过口语来训练目标语言,在用中学。同时还能够以此来活跃课堂氛围,使学生轻松愉快的学习。step5. listening:t: look at the pictures in 2a. what are they doing? please guess.
