九年级Unit 9 Section B (3a-4b)说课稿 A Brief Instruction to the topic of“When was it invented?”Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Today Im going to talk about the topic“ When was it invented?”I will divide the instruction into seven parts:they are Teaching material Analysis, Teaching aims, Teaching emphasis, Teaching difficulties, Teaching methods, Teaching aids and Teaching procedures.Part 1. Teaching material analysis This period is from Section B of Unit 9 inGo For itBook III, First of all, Id like to talk about my understanding about this lesson. We have learned Unit 9 Section A, Ss have learned: When was it invented?What was it invented for? And they can talk about the inventor, uses of some inventions. From Section B (1a-2c) ,we have learned the history of potato chips. Today we are going to learn how to say and write the history of tea and flying disk, after that ,they can describe their own inventions. Part 2 Teaching aims1Aims of the knowledge:(1)To know the spelling of some words and usage of some phrases.(2)To learn The Past Tens Passive Voice(3)To talk about the histories of some inventions and design their own inventions.2Aims of the ablilities: (1)To improve the ability of getting information by reading. (2)To improve the ability of writing the story.3Aims of the emotion: (1)To know the importances of inventions. (2)To understand they should study hard to achieve their dreams.Part 3. Important points1To master some new words and phrases.2To learn The Past Tens Passive VoicePart 4. Difficult points Talk about some histories of inventions and describe the inventions.Part 5 Teaching methods In this topic, I will use Role playing and Discussion Teaching Methods and Task-based language Teaching. I design some tasks to help the students learn. I think if I want to improve the students oral English, I should give them enough chances to practice and I will use pair work, group work to let the students take an active part in all kinds of activities. That is “Learning by doing, learning by using”.Let the students be the masters of the class teaching, thus, student-centered teaching method is well shown.Part 6 Teaching aidsProjector,slide show,tape recorder and blackboardPart 7 Teaching stepsStep Revision The purpose is to revise last lesson. Ss sould fill in the blanks with some words. Its about the history of potato chips. From this step ,they can show The Past Tens Pas sive Voice: waswere + done.Step PresentationThe purpose is to develop the skills of skimming and how to gain the main idea of the articles.1 Show Ss the history of tea.I should say like this:Itsaid that tea was invented by accident.This beverage was discovered over three thousand years ago. According to an Ancient Chinese legend, the emperor Shen Nong Discovered tea when he was boiling drinking water over an open fire. Some leaves from a nearby bush fell into the water and remained there for some time.The emperor noticed that the leaves in the water produced a pleasant smell. Shen Nong taste the hot mixture. It was quite delicious. And in this way, tea was invented.Then I can show the new words to Ss.2.Ss read the new words together.3.Ask students to read text and answer the following questions: What is the article about ? When was it invented?. Who was it invented by?. How was it invented?4.Translate some important sentences into Chinese.5.Fill in the passage with some new words.6.Ss read the story together.Step IIIWriting1. Read the instructions to the class and make students look at the sample first sentence of 3b.2. Explain that students can combine more than one point into one sentence.3. Ask students to finish in oral English.Step PracticeThe purpose is to develop the skills of retelling with the key words4a,4b.Think of something that theydont like doing,then think ofan invention to help them. Imagine they are businesspersons. Ask their friends questions about his or her invention. Try to sell their friends invention to the class.Step ExercisesDo some exercises about this lesson.Step VISummary and homeworkThe purpose is to give the students a clear idea of how to express their problems and revise the articles.1Ask students to revise the words and phrases2Ask students to Find out more stories of inventions.
