Location: in northern part of Zhejiang Province, border Shanghai to the northeast and Hangzhou to the southwest Industry and economy: known as the “home of silk”, producer of textiles, one of the worlds largest exporters of leather goods Others: friendly people, low crime rate, gentle life pace, rich recreational facilities (including cinema, theatre, gym, parks, bars, shopping malls), good levels of education, has four distinctive seasons What is worth visiting in your hometown? abundant tourism interests: the revolutionary saint place of South Lake; Xitang, a living ancient town of thousands of years; Qiantang river tide, a wonder of Haining; Wu Zhen, the birth place of Mao Dun, a famous writer, in Tongxiang. Music How often do you listen to music? Frequency: every day, twice a week Every day. As soon as I get home I usually play something. Ive also got a walkman that I use, and so I often put it on while travelling on the bus because I cant stand all the noise of the traffic. What kind of music do you like? Styles: pop, rock, jazz, folk, country, classical, rap(说唱乐), heavy metal, fast, relaxing Definitely classical music. I have nearly every famous classical work ever recorded. I could sit for hours in a room with my stereo turned up, just listening to classical music. Ive also attended several concerts in Shanghai, where world famous orchestras have come to play the great works of Mozart, Beethoven, or other composers.Shopping Do you enjoy shopping/ window shopping? What you go shopping for, how often, when, and with whom, why you enjoy/dislike shopping Yes: a way to relax yourself, get to know the latest fashion, follow the trend, buy gifts for family No: time-consuming, spend lots of money on things you dont really need, a waste of money What kinds of shops are there near your home? Wal-mart, supermarket, drugstore, butchers, newsagents, music store, electrical store, hardware store, bookshop, greengrocers, jewellers, toyshop, boutique (fashionable clothes) Sport What is your favorite sport? Yoga, go jogging, car racing, rocking climbing, swimming, football, basketball, skating, tennis, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, bowling Why do you like it so much? keep fit, work off extra energy, make friends, exciting What is the most popular sport in your country? Id say that football is really the most popular sport in China. There are millions of crazy football fans. Whenever theres a match on TV between China and another country, you can hear loud cheers and shouts all around the city whenever China scores a goal, and loud groans and moans when the other country scores.Films What types of film do you like best? Types: Western(美国西部电影), musical, newsreel(新闻短片), documentary, black-and-white film, wide screen film, 3-D movie, animated cartoon, war film, art film, historical film, instructional film, science-fiction film, disaster film, feature film(故事片), action film, comedies I definitely like comedies best. I dont see why I should pay money to be sad or scared, so I really dont like sad films or horror films at all. I just like to laugh, and I like movies that can put me in a good mood. Do you prefer to watch film in the cinema or at home?
