Unit 3.English studyGood morning, everyone, Its my great pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you. The content of my lesson is English for Vocational School Basic ModuleUnit3(English study). Ill be ready to begin this lesson from five parts: Analysis of the teaching material, the teaching methods, the studying methods, the teaching procedures, and blackboard design. First, let me talk about the teaching materials.Part 1 Teaching Material:The topic of this unit is “Learning English”. The salesgirls in Xiushui Market can speak fluent English in their business to recommend commodities to foreign customers. They have set a good example to us in learning English. There are some good ideas given in text. This period plays an important part in the English teaching in this unit. And is in the important position of the teaching material. If the Ss can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the Ss learn the rest of this unit. This topic is related to students everyday life and helpful to inspire their learning interests. At the same time, it can improve the students reading ability,. According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus (新课程标准和教学大纲), I think the teaching aims are as follows:1. Knowledge Objectives1).Learn and master the key words and phrases appearing in this part:masterial, cheap, foreign, customer, recommend, service, promote, sale, admire, famous, difficult, set, helpful, effort; keep on, put into practice, with confidence, lose confidence ,give up , at the beginning ,set a good example to, try ones best to do sth., think over, be afraid of, take it easy.2).”Finish “Reading comprehension” on page 232. Ability objects:1).Train students reading skill.2).Train students co-operation ability.3. Know about the ways of learning English and master the key words and useful patterns.5.Teaching difficult points:Discuss “how to learn English well”Part2 Teaching methodsAccording to the characteristics of students,I used the subject Participation in teaching, at the same time, to take the reading, discussion,and guide.First: Read the text to answer the questions of“Reading comprehension”Second:Guide the students to understand the long and difficult sentences.Third: pair work or group work to solve the problems:Discuss “How to protect our environment?”Finaly,Teacher makes a comment and summarizePart3 Studying Methods: 1)study by himself-read the text to answer the questions. 2)Work in groups to discuss-understand the long and difficult sentences.Part4 Teaching ProceduresStep1 Lead-inEnglish is very important. But some of us think it is very difficult to learn English. There are many good ways to learn English.
