The Procedures of the TeachingStep1.Lead inShow some beautiful pictures.T :Do you like these places ?Do you want to go there someday ?I want to go there ,but I dont have so much money and I have a lot of work to do.What should I do ?Could you give me some good advice ?Get students answer freely .Step 2. Talking 1 .Talk about other problems with the teachers help:1).I dont get enough sleep .2).I got into a fight with my best friend .3).My parents dont allow me to hang out with my friends .(pair work)e.g. A: Whats wrong? B: Im really tied because I studied until midnight last night.A: Why dont you go to sleep earlier this evening?2. Language points. allow v. 允许;准许allow sb. to do sth.允许某人做某事e.g. My parents dont allow me to stay up late. 我父母不允许我熬夜。Mr. Smith allowed Mike to drive there. 史密斯先生允许迈克开车去那里。Step3 . Groupwork 1aLook at these problems and read them together. Then talk about the rest in groups of four with the following questions :Could you please do?Will you please do?Would you please doWould you like to do?What/How about doing?Why not /Why dont you do?You should/could do Then get some groups act the conversions out .Step 4 . Listening1b.A boy and a girl are talking about some of these problems now. Lets listen and circle them .Play the recording only once , then check the answers : they are talking about Number 1 and Number 4 .2a. 1).T: My friend Peter also has a problem. Lets see whats wrong with him ? (Look at the picture to predict)Peter had a fight with his best friend .Then predict the advice Peters friend may give him.2).Let Ss read the sentences in 2a. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and write the words in the blank.Then check the answers. (get some Ss to read the answer one by one)2b1). Let Ss read the sentences below. Explain some main sentences for the Ss. Make sure they know the meaning of each sentence.2). Play the recording for the Ss to write the letters (a-e) next to the advice in 2a.3). check the answers.(t asks ,Ss answer together .)Step 5.
