李珊珊 学科教学(英语)11813011Unit-9 Its raining!一The analysis of teaching material This lesson is the first period in Unit-9 its raining of Go For It 7B. Its the leading part in this unit. Introduce how to describe the weather. The whole unit revolves around the “weather condition”. The topic of this unit is closely related to students daily life, so the students may have great interest in learning it. The grammar of this unit is the Present Progressive Tense which is the continuous of lase unit. The activities in this unit are combined by asking and answering the weather. after learning the whole unit, the students can use the present progressive tense to describe peoples activity in different weather conditions. 二The analysis of students: The students are in the second year of junior high school. They have great interest in English. The students have good memory and they are good at imitation. They are curious about everything and they have the performance desire. the task of teacher is to arouse their interests and let them take part in activities in the class. Active learner.Learn English actively instead of passively. 三Aim 1. Knowledge aim: (1) to learn the target words raining, windy, cloudy, sunny, snowing in this lesson. (2) to know the rule of how these nouns (sun, rain, wind, cloud, snow) change into adjectives (3) to learn the target sentence construction in this lesson is: How is the weather?/ Whats the weather like?2. Ability aim: (1) to know how to describe the weather in one place. (2) to improve the students communicative and cooperative ability. (3) to improve students listening, speaking ability.3. Emotional aim: (1)to let the students know each other better and cooperate with each other (2)to arouse the students interest in learning English. 四Key points: to ask the weather in one place and describe the weather in one place with the appropriate adjectives. For example: How is the weather? / Whats the weather like?
