八年级英语(下册)Unit 2 Ill help to clean up the city parksSection A 1 1a-1c教学设计教材简析 本单元的主题涉及到援助与关爱(help and love),教材Section A 部分1a-1c活动旨在呈现、学习不同援助方式的英语表述,为词汇输入阶段,也是目标语言的初步感知阶段;2a-2d活动通过听说练习此前所学词汇的表述,并在听说训练过程中体会不定时和短语动词的用法;3a-3c活动通过阅读强化对单元主题的内容及语言项目的理解,为后续的语法总结归纳做好铺垫。Section A 部分的教学重点是学习情态动词的could表达建议,正确使用有关援助的表述、短语动词以及相关表达中的动词不定时。本部分的学习难点是动词不定时的在英语句子中的成分与作用,以及不同动词短语的含义与搭配。在教学本单元时,教师应充分利用话题内容的优势引导学生探索、讨论互相关爱及援助的价值和意义,渗透人文关怀和道德观念的培养。教学目标:1. 语言知识目标:(1)能熟练掌握并运用下列词汇和短语:volunteer, cheer, cheer up, clean up, give out.(2)能运用下列句型谈论向他人提供帮助及提出如何帮助他人的建议:I hope toI want to Id like to You could 2. 语言技能目标:(1)听的能力:能听懂谈论提供帮助和提出如何帮助他人的建议的四段小对话;能看图预测听力内容;听时记录关键词语。(2)说的能力:能谈论如何帮助他人并向别人提出如何帮助他人的建议。3. 学习策略目标:能通过与人合作,运用语言,习得语言。4. 情感态度目标:培养学生乐于助人的志愿精神。5. 文化意识目标:了解志愿服务和志愿者相关文化现象。教学重点:学习用情态动词could表达建议及want/hope/would like to 表达帮助他人的想法。教学难点:掌握志愿服务的大量的相关词汇和表达。教学方法:交际功能法、任务型教学法和分层教学法教学过程:Step 1. Warming up & Lead-in(1). Greet students.(2). Boys and girls, look at the pictures about these people. What happened to them?How could we help them? To be volunteer! Today we will learn “Ill help to clean up the city parks.” Do you want to be a volunteer?Step 2. BrainstormWhat could we do to help others?At school, what could we do?Outside school, what could we do?Step 3 Talking-the ways to help peopleStep 4. Listening practice (1b)(1) Pre-listening (look at the picture and predict the conversation)Look at the picture in 1a and guess: What would the boy /the girl like to do? What could the boy/the girl do in todays volunteer?S:Maybe the boy/the girl would like to The girl /The boy could (2) While-listeningThe first listening: number the picturesThe second listening: fill in the blanksThe third listening: Play a game to ask students to retell the conversations.Play As sentence and stop the recording, then ask the students to give A advice using “You could ” after that, compare it with the recording.(3). Post-listeninga. Pair work: Practice the conversation in the picture above. Then make other conversations using the information in 1b.
