Ask students to tell some famous museums in Xian. 2. Watch a video about the Palace Museum. 3. Introduce the four most famous museums in the world to the students. 4. Encourage students to know more about those museums and visit them in person one day. Students activities: Discuss and tell what they know about the questions. Write the answers to the questions on the note paper.Step 2 Reading 1. Ask students to look up the new words in the vocabulary list and underline them in the article. 2. Ask students to read the magazine article and fill in the chart. 3. Encourage students to read loud the article as beautifully as they can. Feel the beauty of the language. 4. Ask students to copy a useful and beautiful sentence from the article and try to make their own sentence just like it. 5. Make clear a key point in tests-have (has) been to & have (has) gone to. Students activities: a. Work in groups to make clear each new words correct pronunciation, part of speech and meaning. b. Read the article carefully and work in groups to find the information to fill in the chart on the note paper. c. Read loud the article in class. d. Copy and write sentences on the note paper. e. Discuss and tell the difference between “been to” and “gone to”. Finish the exercises on the note paper. Step 3 Brainstorm 1. Show a video about some pretty strange museums around the world. 2. Encourage students to talk about the museums they want to build. Students activities: Share what you know about the museums in Xian. Enjoy the video and imagine your own museum. Step 4 Summary & Homework 1. Ask students to look at the note paper and think of what they have
