Teach activity 1a (1) Show some pictures on the big screen to help the students to learn some places ,such as in the library,on the street, in my house, at the bus stop. (2) Ask students to read them together. (3) Tell students to matche with the people in the picture in 1a. 2. Practice the new sentence pattern:(pair work and group work) 1). Let the students work in pairs and make their own conversations. 3. Teach activity 1b (1) Tell students to read the phrases in 1b. Make sure they know the meaning of the words and sentences. (2) Play the recording for the students to listen and circle the correct response. (3) Play the recording again. Check the answers with the students. (4) Check the answers with the class. 4.
