教材分析:本节课是2011标版人教版八年级下册第四单元第一课时的内容。本单元的话题是谈论生活中遇到的各种问题并会提出相应的建议。话题贴近学生生活,预计学生应该很感兴趣在课堂上可以说出自己的烦恼以寻求帮助、解决问题、健康成长。本节课是第一课时,对学生的要求不能过高,要循序渐进,对知识的掌握要由浅入深。第一课时是听说课,因此知识目标是掌握书单词allow, wrong, deal,词组look through, big deal, get enough sleep, get into a fight with等及句型Why dont you?/Why not? / I think youd better / Maybe you should/could等,并会创编对话。能力目标是培养学生的听说能力和语言交际能力。情感态度与价值观方面,要让学生意识到关心他人的重要性,学会于他人沟通。 学情分析: 我所教的班级的学生虽然是我们校同年级学生中比较不错的班级,但由于我校临近农村,大多数孩子都来自附近农村家庭,相对来说英语基础薄弱,起点非常低,经过一年半的努力,学生已经养成了很多好的学习习惯,如课后复习,提前预习,合作互助等,有三分之一的学生相对突出,进步很快,也有很多进入八年级后就更觉学业吃力的学生,因此两极分化严重。班级进行“师友互助”,目的是互帮互助,共同提高。每堂课,我都要对学生所要学习的内容进行分层次教学。引导学生逐步掌握,分散难点、突出重点的同时,要适当进行拓展,为进一步学习及未来的英语学习做好积累和铺垫。比如,几乎每单元我都会拓展一些阅读中可能会遇到的和本单元相关的生词和谚语或经典语句等。由于八年级下册的内容难度加深了,每单元我们分八课时完成。 Teaching PlanTeaching Aims and demands: 1. Learn the vocabulary and talk about problems in their daily life. 2. Train their communicating skills especially listening and speaking skills. Teaching Key and Difficult Points: Master the target language and express their problems and give advice to each other. Teaching methods and learning strategies: Eliciting, Co-operating, Practicing,Communicating, Task-based language teaching, Total Situational Action. Teaching Materials: Multi-media, PPT, a recorder Teaching Procedure: Step One: Preview. 1. Have a free talk first to cheer them up. Ask them to read the words in this part aloud and check the pronunciation, the part of the speech and how to use the words in pairs. 2. Complete the sentences to check what they have previewed and explain more.Step Two: Learn New Conversations. Lead in. Everybody has some worries or problems sometimes in his life. I can tell you my problems. I feel nervous and tired sometimes. What should I do? Can you tell us about your problems? Think about it and later well talk about it.(The aim is to help them say out their feelings to lower stress and help them to care for one another and give them enough time to think it over at the same time.) 1. Look at these five problems and ask then if they are serious or not. (Help them find out the knowledge points at the same time.) 2. Learn to ask for and give advice. Give them some hints first. Look at the picture in the PPT and learn the conversations according to different situations. Step Three : Expansion and Improvement 1. Elicit them to use the target language correctly and freely. 2. Listening practice. 1) Listen and catch the main idea and find out the two problems in the listening materials. 2) Ask them to make conversations to check what they have heard and make sure about their ability of acquiring information. 3) Make their own conversations according to their real problems in their daily life. (Give them some examples for reference.) 4) Have a competition. Use what they have learned to make a longer one in groups. Step Four: Challenge time. Lets see who is the first to answer the questions. (The aim of the activity is to arise their awareness of competition and give them different problems to work out according to their different levels.The teacher explains more about the difficult points for further study and to broaden their horizon. Step Five: Summary. 1. The students make a summary first. 2. Add more if necessary. 3. Homework. 1) Try to remember all the words and phrases and use them. 2) Make another conversation on yo
