Key: He searched the room only to find nothing. 3 .表原因翻译练习: 他们看到这一幕感到很害怕._.Key: They were very frightened to see the terrible scene.七、动名词与不定式的区别1) 动名词与不定式的区别:动名词表达的是:状态,性质,心境,抽象,经常性,已发生的不定式表达的是:目的,结果,原因,具体,一次性,将发生的2)接不定式或动名词,意义相同。 begin (让学生回顾类似动词,老师补充)3)动名词与不定式语义不同的 例如:stop to do stop doing ( 让学生自己列举并进行区分,老师补充)同步练习:1. 帮助化学老师一起做试验是那么令人高兴的一件事. The room in which my family live used to be a garage.翻译练习: 1.刚才和你握手的那人是我们的部门经理。 _. 2.在黑暗的森林里,没有一个人可以让她去求助。 _.keys: 1. The man with whom you shook hands just now is head of our department. 2.In the dark forest, there was not a single person to whom she could turn for help.二.由关系副词why when或where 引导的定语从句 关系副词why, when 和where 在定语从句中分别作原因、时间和地点状语。其结构相当于“介词+关系代词”,如: When (指时间) = in/ at /on / during which Where (指地点) = in/at/ from whichWhy (指原因) = for which e.g. I need to know the exact time when you expect to come. Mr. Smith went back to the house where he was born many years ago.
