Oh, the ducks are coming back again. Do you still remember the twelve vowels we learnt before , read them together ,who reads the most correctly and distinctly? Then, show the new ones. Today we learn double-vowels, just pronounce from one to another quickly. First, lets read two single vowels together, do it from slowly to quickly, they two are becoming a double vowel.2.Ask Ss read the words on the left first, then listen to the tape carefully and read after it.3. Write the words on the right, read the four words on the same line together, to find out how the vowels pronounce. Notice at the letters which pronounce these vowels.4. -Can we bring ducks into the supermarkets? No, we cant. -Can you make a sign about it ? - Yes, I can. -Where can I put this sign? You can put it in front of the supermarket. - What about other signs? Happy Park needs some signs, can you make them? Yes, I can . Where can we put them? - We can .Step:Practice1.Read these words and the vowels to your partner, compare and correct the errors. Read more times. Find a way to remember them for a longer time 2. Show the signs, say their meaning in Chinese and English together.3. Make and practice a dialogue in pairs like the one on the Bb, then show it to other pairs.(more than two pairs)Step:Production1.
