小学英语五年级上册Unit6 In a nature parkA Lets learn一、教材分析:本节课是PEPBook5Unit6PartALetslearn的内容,主要是让学生听说读sky,cloud,mountain些单词。同时对grass,river,flower,lake,forest,path这几个词会拼读。另外,由于在第五单元中已经学过Thereis/are句子,所以也把这些词与这些句子结合来教学。二、教学目标:1、知识目标:学生能听说认读单词sky,cloud,mountain。能听说读写四会单词grass,river,flower,lake,forest,path。能认读句型:There is a forest in the nature park.2、能力目标:学生能在具体情境中通过句型:There is aan熟练运用单词。3、情感目标:学生通过学习和感受自然公园的美,来激发学生爱护环境的优秀品质。三、教学重难点1、教学重点:本课时需要重点掌握有关自然景物的单词:flower,grass,river,lake,forest,mountain,sky,cloud,path能够熟练运用There be句型说出某处有某物。2、教学难点:熟练运用There be句型表达存在句式。本课时的生词较多,教师应充分利用视频材料及图片让学生大量的练习,以便较好掌握。四、课前准备教师准备教学过程中所需的多媒体课件等。五、教学过程、Warm-upT: Are you ready?Ss: Yes!T: You are A, you are B. Lets have a competition. OK? Ss: OK!a、 Lets chantT: First, Lets have a chant.课前师生一起说第四单元的chant,营造轻松氛围的同时也为之后的学习做铺垫。chant内容如下:Dog, dog, what can you do?I can run after you.Panda, panda, what can you do? I can eat so much bamboo.Mouse, mouse, what can you do?I can hide in the shoe.Mike, Mike, what can you do?I can draw animals in the zoo!b、 Free talkT: Cool! You chant very well! Look! This is my new room. Whats in my new room? Lets go to the nature park, OK?Ss: OK!教师教读nature park。 b、Teach river forestT: Whats in the nature park? Lets go and have a look.A riddle for you!课件出示谜语:Im clean.Im long.There is water in my body.There are fish in the water.T: Oh, its a river. 教读river并板书单词及简笔画.T: And whats this? Its a forest. 教读forest并板书单词及简笔画.T: Whats in the nature park?(分别出示河流和森林的图片)Ss: There is a river/forest in the nature park.c、Teach path grass 课件出现小狗在山间小道上跑。T: Look!Its a dog,lets ask, dog, dog, what can you do?I can run on the path. 教读path并板书单词及简笔画.课件又出现牛吃草。T: Look!Its a cow,lets ask, cow, cow, what can you do?I can eat so much grass. 教读grass并板书单词及简笔画.T: Whats in the nature park?(分别出示小路及草地的图片)Ss: There is a path in the nature park. There is grass in the nature park.d、Teach mountain, lake flowerT: Wow! There are many beautiful things in the park. What else? Lets use the telescope to have a look!依次教授mountain, lake flower并板书单词及简笔画. 同时让学生描述这些景物的特点。The mountain is .The is .The are . (为后面的拓展活动做铺垫。)T: Whats in the nature park?(分别出示大山,湖泊及花的图片)Ss: There is a lake in the nature park. There are many/some mountains/flowers in the nature park.e、Revise the words and make sentences.课件快速闪现图片,学生抢读单词,然后组成句子。Look! There is grass.Its green.There is a .Its .There are .They are .f、Listen to the tape and repeat.g、Read freely. 设计意图:用谜语、图片、声音等多媒体手段使学生有效地感知新语言,趣味性和直观性较强。、Practicea、Lets chant T: Can you chant well? You can clamp your hands.将所学知识编成歌谣:The grass is green, green, green, green.The sky is blue, blue, blue, blue.The river is clean, clean, clean, clean.The lake is blue, blue, blue, blue.The path is long, long, long, long.The forest is big, big, big, big.The clouds are white, white, white, white.The flowers are nice, nice, nice, nice.The mountains are high, high, high, high.设计意图:通过编写朗朗上口的歌谣,锻炼了孩子的节奏感的同时降低了掌握新知的难度。b、 Play a gameT: Good job! Lets play a game, OK?Ss: OK!击鼓传花,每组拿到花的同学快速抢答消失的单词。设计意图:通过设计击鼓传花游戏,满足孩子们爱玩的天性,让孩子在轻轻松松的氛围中学好英语。c、 To be a good guide.T: Can you be a good guide to introduce the beautiful park? Welcome to the Nature park.
