Module 6 Unit 1It didnt become gold.教学设计 本课时编写:合肥永和学校段文哲 教材分析:本模块的学习主要依然围绕着过去式的应用,着重学习动词过去时的不规则变化,及其否定形式。在Unit1里,通过神笔马良的故事,让同学们在听故事的同时,学习不规则动词的过去式变化,以及其否定形式。通过本课的学习,学生们掌握is/was, help/helped, paint/painted, have/had以及become/became,等动词的过去式变化规则, 在句子中帮助学生了解一般过去时的含义及记忆动词的不规则变化。教学目标:1. Students learn some special verbs, their past tense and some sentence patterns. Words: become/became, take/took, gold, magic, woman, realSentences: had noodles forThere was/wereIt didnt become gold.2. Help the students use these words and sentences in activities and daily life.3. Inspire the students interest to tell stories, and practice students ability of speaking. 教学重难点:1. To master the basic sentence “It didnt become gold.”2. To master the past tense of some verbs “have, take, become, is, help, paint”.3. To know the story of Maliang.4. To talk about some other famous stories of China. 5. To use these words and sentences in the past tense correctly. 教学准备:Multimedia, cards, ppt, and CD-ROM.教学过程:1. Warm-up 1). Quick eyes: Show them some pictures of food, and they say the corresponding words.2). Free talk:T: boys and girls. What did you do yesterday?S1: I watched TV.S2: I did my homework.S3: I helped my mum.T: wow! Good for you. What did you have for breakfast/for lunch/for dinner?S1: I had milk and bread for breakfast.S2: I had beef noodles for lunch.S3: I had rice and vegetables for dinner.T: excellent! Your food is very healthy. How about our friend, the pink pig and the white cat? What did they have for breakfast?Lets listen to the tape.3). Activity 1. Listen, point and say.Play the CD-ROM.Check the answer.【设计意图】The topic and pictures will draw students attention and their interests. The free talk will make them ready for the class, make them familiar with the new sentence pattern and lead in the new topic of this lesson. 2. Presentation T: Yesterday, I went to the supermarket, and bought something. Guess, what did I buy?S1: You bought a picture?T: nope. But I can use it draw pictures.S2: Is it a pencil?T: no. It has a little fur.S3: oh, I know. Is it a brush?T: yes, you are so smart. Its a paintbrush. Look! (Show them the brush)T: today, we learn a story about a paintbrush. Now, we listen to the tape, and please tell me, who is the hero of this story?1). Activity2. Listen, point and find.Play the CD-ROM.T: Boys and girls, who is the hero of this story?Ss: Ma Liang. T: what did he have?Ss: he had a magic paintbrush.T: what did he do with his paintbrush?T: great! He had a magic paintbrush, and he did many things with his magic paintbrush. Now, lets listen to the tape again. And answer my question. Question 1: What did he do with his paintbrush?Question 2: what happened to his paintbrush?Question 3: whats the result?2). Listen again for detailed information. Play the CD-ROM again.Discuss and check the answer.Learn “paintbrush”, “magic”, “became”, “real”, “gold”, “took”, “with” and the sentence pattern. 3). Listen again and read.Play the CD-ROM again, and read after it.T: boys and girls, now we will listen to the tape again. This time, please try to imitate the pronunciation and intonation.【设计意图】This procedure is to learn the new text. The Task-based method is used to lead students to read the story carefully and get information from the text. Imitation and repeat will improve students pronunciation. 3. Practice 1). Role-play.Students will read the story by group, or by role.2). Group work.Show them pictures of this lesson. Students work in group to put them in the right order.3). Retell the story.Students try to retell the story under the help of pictures. 4). Practice activity3 on page34.5). Practice activity4 on page34.【设计意图】The new knowledge they have learned will be consolidated, and they will practice their skill of communication and expression.4. Summary Students sum up the knowledge they have learned.【设计意图】The summary is another kind of consolidation. 5. Homework 1). Listen to the story 3 times and try
