I like 四 Teaching method Situational teaching method, task based teaching method, group cooperative learning method and mode method五 Teaching Aids PPT, football, story book, radio and tape六 Teaching procedureStep 1: Warming up1 Lets sing a song Play the song My new pen pal and sing that song under the guidance of teacher。2 Present and read the unit topic I have a pen pal in PPT.3 Set the situation We will have a class meeting. The topic is Hobby. If you want to attend this meeting, you must win the game at each level.Step 2: Presentation 1 Challenge 1: Guessing Time(1) Show Yao Mings picture in the PPT. Then ask the questions.- Who is he?- He is Yao Ming.- What is he like?- He likes playing basketball.Then teacher concludes that playing basketball is his hobby. Based on the above sentence, teacher presents the new word “hobby” on PPT. Practice the pronunciation and spelling of that word. Finally, introduce the new sentence structures “what is your hobby?”(2) Use a football to present the verb phrase “playing football”. - What am I doing?- You are playing football.- I like playing football. Then teacher concludes that playing football is my hobby.(3) Present these new words: singing, dancing, reading stories and doing kung fu in the same way.(4) Repeat and imitate these new words by following the tape.(5) Play a game: Sharp Eyes(火眼金睛)There are many phrases in the night sky. Can you say out the phrases as quickly as you can?2 Challenge 2: Dialogue time(1) Study Lets learn in part AObserve the pictures and answer questions. - Who are they? - What are they talking about?- They are talking about Zhang Pengs hobbies. - What are Zhang Pengs hobbies?- He likes reading stories, doing kung fu and singing.(2) Read and role-play the dialogue.(3) Play a gameAll students read the sentence “whats your hobby” three times and pass a ball one by one. If you hold the ball, you should answer that question.Step 3: Consolidation Congratulations, boys and girls. All of you are wonderful in this game.
