Whats in the classroom?Ss answers. Then T adds: “There is a floor, a teachers desk, a computer, two fans and four walls in the classroom, too.” (Meanwhile, point to the actual objects or show pictures in CAI)2. T points to the teachers desk, floor, wall, fan and computer, asks: “Whats this?” Ss answer.3. Play the CAI for this lesson. Drill the new words by listening.4. Work in 2 to read new words. Correct wrong pronunciation.5. T asks questions: “What colour is the wall?”, “What colour is the floor?” Guide Ss to answer: “The wall is white.”, “The floor is green.” T pays attention to the pronunciation of “the”. Then Let Ss imitate to the recording.6. Watch and do expanding exercise. Eg:Look! This is my classroom. The wall is white. The floor is green. The fan is green, too. The computer is red. Who is in the picture?Ss: Mike.T: Look at the classroom. All the things have no colours now. Do you want to know what colours they are?Ss: Yes.2) Read the Mikes description in “Colour and say” part, then answer questions as follows:a. What colour is the door?b. What colour are the desks?c. Does Mike like his classroom?2. Draw for Mikes classroom in P8 according to Mikes description. Then work in 4 to introduce the classroom and perform it.3. Show a picture of a bee, and ask: “Whats this?” Ss: “Its a bee.” Continue to show pictures that the bee is in different places, such as in the classroom/ on the light/ on the fan/ on the wall/ on the board.
