At the stage one, I choose the topic about the sales strategy of Dell and set up objectives. Then I research the information and have the work in Dell. After that, I make sure the criteria which are assessing the implication of the issues. Finally, I have a planning of this whole report. At the stage two, I analyze the factors to affect the sales of strategy of Dell, and then I have the detailed information to prove the success of Dell. Next, I have the recommendation to Dell about the defects in the service.In this report, I would evaluate and analyze the strength and weakness for this whole report. The effectiveness is the important factors to evaluate this report. Finally, I should have some recommendations for the future.1. Meeting objectivesMy objectives are introduced and analyzed the sales strategy of Dell, and also giving the advice and reference to other competitors. As the international company, Dell use different method to solve the problem in the international market. The method would be learned to use to develop the business and get more market share.Firstly, I had research the information about situation in sales of Dell, and I analyzed the sales strategy about target customers, product positioning, pricing positioning and sales channels to prove the success of Dell based on the information collect. I used the 4p concept to show the situation of Dell. Dell changes the different method about sales to face to the different changes in the Chinese market. The correct position in product and price in the market make the Dell have perfect sales and profits. This success case would help the other international companies and competitors to learn how the deal with the problems in the sales.2. Effectiveness of the planning and implementation stagesI will be detailed to assess the effectiveness of the brief, the plan and the report. The planning stage is the basic of implementation stage, it shows the process of implementation. I should explain the effectiveness according to comment of the planning and implementation stages.2.1 Effectiveness of the briefThe briefs in the planning stage is shows the role of preparation, such as the topic, objectives, issues and criteria. It also determined the methods, group award and source of information, those are the basic of implementation stage.In the brief, my topic is the Analysis of Dell Successful Sales Strategy. I should determine the four issues in the brief, those four issues can prove my topic. The products, customers, price and sales channels are the base of the decision in sales strategy. Those are effective for completing the implementation stage.I also have the criteria to prove the success of sales strategy in Dell, such as the sales volume, profit performance and user evaluation. Through the pictures of the income statement and profit grows in Dell, it can evaluate effectively the situation of development in Dell and prove the Dell to have the successful development in Chinese market during the correct sales strategy. And I also show the user evaluation about feedback to Dell.2.2 Effectiveness of the planAbove the briefs, I had the timescales to prove the practical effectiveness. In the timescales, I have any steps of tasks to finish the three stages and I finish the each stage in time. In the implementation stage, I had more time to collect and screen information according to the objective, issues and criteria requirement.In the plan, I had a work in the Dell. And I collected much information from my working. I was allowed to learn the situation about sales performance from employees after work for my primary information. Then I searched the information about history and income statement of Dell from the internet, magazines and books, it is the important of secondary information. At the end of plan, I showed the budgets of the plan. Those would ensure the effectiveness of my implementation stage.2.3 Effectiveness of the reportThe sales strategy of Dell has a deeply influence in the PC industry, as the secondly PC group in the international market. To assess the effectiveness of the report, the sales strategy is worth of discussing and studying. According to the report, it can prove the successful sales in Dell during its successful strategy from customers, products, price and sales channel in the Chinese market.In the planning stage, I had the reasonable issues and chose the different suitable versions to prove the success. In the implementation stage, I analyzed my issues and achieve my aims effectively. All the analysis is to attest the effectiveness of brief. However, according to the difference in the reality and idea, Dell has some defects in the development, such as the complaints in user evaluations. During the development of Dell, it should pay attention to the sales and not in the service. It provides the perfect customers experience in the sales and ignore the service after the sales. For the collecting the information, I find those problems and give the recommendations to Dell.Then I use the knowledge about marketing, economic issues and accounting to deal with the data and analysis to prove the success of sales strategy. I have four issues about target customers, product position, price position and sales channels, those are the standards of assessment in decision for the sales strategy. Whether the correct data support the situation of development, Dell should has the correct decision. In addition, I should analyze the core competitiveness, culture and talented staff in Dell at the final part, those should show the value of Dell in the society. According to the survey, I find that the culture and core competitiveness are the factors in success of development, those can increase the competitiveness brand awareness in the market with other competitors. At the first stage, I would not provide the culture and core competitiveness to be the issues in my report, because those would not the decisive factors in the sales strategy of Dell. As the result, this report is effectiveness to achieve my objective and use the correct issues in the planning stage.3. Strengths and weakness of the reportAccording to the process of report, I have both strengths and weakness. In my opinion, the strengths of my report are unique perspective and rich data. However, I have some weakness, such as the time arrangement and actual expenses 3.1 Strengthsl Unique perspectiveI have a unique perspective in this report, because I have much information about sales in Dell and choose the most representative way to analyze the success of sales, such as the target customers, product position, price position and sales channel. For example, most persons would pay attention to the sales channel about direct sales which is the characteristics of Dell. I should use essence of sales and prove the success sales according to decision of sales strategy. The essence of sales would pay attention to the characteristics of product, such as the customer demand, promotion and price. Those would be analyzed in target customers, product position and price position in my report. Through the analysis are showed, I would get the conclusion to prove my view which can be understand directly.l Rich dataIn my report, I have many pictures and charts. This showed the situation about target customers, product position, income statement and sales volume. The pictures would be understood directly and easily to the readers and prove the changes in the development.The pictures and charts are from the website of Dell and professional companies. The data is accurate according to the survey. Those pictures and charts can prove that Dell has the good development in sales. 3.2 Weaknessl Time arrangementIn my report, I have finished according to my requirement. In my words, I have the weakness in my report, such as the time arrangement. I would more time to collect and analyze the information, and I should not finish the task on time in the timescales. The defect of time arrangement is to have more time in the stage one and stage two, and it makes me to delay the time of stage two which makes me have more time to review my stage two again and again.l Actual expensesAccording expenses of planning, I spent about 82 RMB in stamping report, buying magazine and buying newspapers. In fact, I spend 156 RMB in the stamping report. Because the reviewing the report, I should stamp the report more times. In the other way, I collect the information from the internet which should be paid some money to download data. Those should take me more money and have the different planning in the stage one.4. Recommendations for future investigation
