How to Keep Mental HealthThe necessary conditions to keep mental health are shown below. Please check them and find out conditions that are lacking in you. They may be hints to solve your problems and to strengthen your mental health. Conditions chiefly concerned with physical and behavioural problemsSufficient sleep. Sufficient rest. Physical well-being. Having ways of coping with stress. hobbies, amusement, sports, chat, meditation, taking naps and so on. Having time only for yourself. Good human-relationships in your family, place of work, school and neighbourhood. Having someone you can believe from the bottom of your heart. Having the place where you can return, when you are severely weary. family, friends, hometown, relatives and parental home Keeping a balance in your behaviour. work and rest, work and amusement, brain work and physical work, concentration and relaxation and so on. Pursuing not only ones own happiness and mental growth, but also everyones happiness and whole environmental maturity. Conditions concerned with inner problemsHaving suffcient room in the mind. Having hope, dreams and goals. Having mental flexibility. Having enough power to recover to your normal state of mind. Not losing sight of yourself. Recovering yourself, even if your mind is severely shaken. Positive thinking. Being able to keep an eye on the positive side of things and events. Being able to interpret positively any events which have happened and will happen in your life. Predicting the future optimistically. Keeping a balance between the opposing elements in the mind. thinking and feeling, reason and instinct, pride and humility, seriousness and humorousness, realism and idealism, egoism and being in harmony with others and so on. Coping with the inner enemies. Nagative feelings, such as anger, hatred and grudges. Negative nature, such as aggressiveness, evil drive, jealousy, arrogance, loss of sympathy, cruelty, weekness and so on Negative behavior, such as drinking too much, eating too much, indifference to health, any addictions, laziness and so on. Negative thinking, such as dwelling on the negative and dark side of things and events, predicting the future pessimistically. Negative beliefs and distorted fixed ideas, such as all human beings are egotistic. Money is everything Negative self-image, such as being convinced that I am inferior. Inferiority complex. Trauma. Keeping appropriate self-esteem. Evaluating yourself properly. Keeping self-confidence. Keeping basic trust in yourself and others Keeping basic trust in yourself. Keeping approproate basic trust in others and the whole world. Keeping thanks to nature, the universe and God. Having faith in God. Love Loving yourself. Loving someo
