Our Nitrate Furnace is capable of fulfilling treatments, as parts quenching, tempering, austempering cooling and liquid chemical heating, under various solvents. The furnace body is welded of profile steel and steel plates. The furnace surface is made by =14mm plates. The furnace lining applies 0.6g/cm3 light high-strength microsphere firebricks. Its interlayer is filled with aluminum silicate fiber. And the space between furnace hull and lining is filled up with expandable thermal-insulating powder. The heating elements of the Nitrate Furnace adopt diametrically long 0Cr25Al5 spiral high temperature resistant wire, which is placed in temperature-equalization style on the wire-laying bricks in the furnace lining. The crucible is tight welded of heat-resistant stainless steel plates and has been proofed zero flaw by the X-Ray Detector. When works in austempering mode, four heat-resistant stainless-steel instant cold packs will be settled in the crucible, and with the electrical swing feeder, the workpiece in the fused nitrate will move reciprocatively to accomplish temperature-equalizing and austempering purpose. The stainless-steel compressed air inlet pipes equipped under the crucible form a multi-hole jetting array to seethe the fused nitrate in the crucible. It is suitable for heat treatments as quenching, annealing, tempering, normalizing, nonoxidative heating, carbonization, etc. This series of electrode salt-bath furnaces includes three types of low, medium and high temperature, works respectively in spans of 150-550, 550-1000, 1000- 1350.The DM tri-phase embedded electrode salt-bath furnace is built in rectangular structure. The hull is welded by angle bar and steel plate, enclosed of which is an internal layer consists of steel plate, too. The salt bath inside the internal layer is consisted of vertical and standard bricks. The function of the internal layer is to prevent fused salt from leaking into the insulation layer and the salt bath, which also ease the replacement of the bath when it breaks. Space between the hull and the internal layer is filled up with insulating bricks and powder. The electrode is inserted from the side of the salt bath bottom with one side in the bath salt and the three other sides bury in firebricks. The above-mentioned structure will prolong the working life of the electrode. As the electrode is 50mm above the bath bottom, it avoids short circuit caused by slag sediment. The electrode outside the internal layer sleeved with a water-cooling tube, which solidifies any leaking fused salt flows from the electrode. The DM tri-phase embedded electrode salt-bath furnace applies salts as the heating agent. Different salts or salt mixtures are applied according to various required treating temperature. As salt before melting does not conduct electricity, therefore the salt bath furnace must use the starting electrode to fuse salt before further operation. Because the electric current flows through the conductive fused salt releases heat continuously, therefore the salt will maintain in fusing. As the electrode works under electromagnetic force, the electromagnetic stir and natural convection assures continuous circulation of fused salt, so that workpieces will be heated quickly and evenly. The furnace side is placed with exhaust hoods connected with vent pipes in the workshop to exhaust noxious gas produced by the electrode salt-bath furnace. Electric furnace control cabinet is provided together with the salt-bath furnace for temperature control. A temperature control meter is equipped on the cabinet to indicate temperature. The furnace hull is welded into a cylinder by profile steel and steel plates. The furnace chamber is built by 0.6g/cm3 energy-saving light high-strength microsphere firebricks, of which the inner walls are all equipped with heating elements. The space between the chamber and the hull of the crucible salt-bath furnace is filled with the aluminum silicate fiber felts and the expandable thermal-insulating powder. A heat-resistant steel crucible is placed in the chamber to hold fused salt. The crucible cover is composed of two semicircles that can rotate nimbly. The top of the cover has two holes that assist the bracing shaft to hang workpieces. A circular upper hood is settled on the top of the crucible salt-bath furnace, on which air vents is scooped to exhaust noxious gas through the ventilation system. The lower part of the upper hood has two rotatable gates and a check wicket. A drainage port is opened in the front of the hull, with functions of regularly removing slags from the chamber and draining leaked slat fluid caused by the corrosion and oxidation of the crucible, so as to protect the heating elements and lining of the furnace. Electric heating tube is installed in the oil tank. Oil pump, stainless steel plate heat interchanger and automatic constant temperature oil control cabinet is installed outside the tank. The operating principle of the tank is: when frequently quenching workpieces raises the oil temperature, the oil pump will switch to work, pump the high temperature oil into the stainless steel plate heat interchanger, where the circulating cooling puts through automatically, interchange heat from multi-layer stainless steel plates in the interchanger, and then conveys the cooled quenching oil. As the circulation goes, the oil tank will always maintain a proper working temperature.
