湖南省株洲四中高三英语it专项练习it 引导的强调句型结构为:“it + is/was +被强调部分 + that /who 从句 ”。这一结构是高考常见的句型之一。1. 一般来说,被强调部分指人时,可用who/that,被强调部分指物时用that。通过这种结构可以强调除谓语动词以外的大多数句子成分。如:it was a severe drought that hit yunnan provincein the year of 2010. 是一场严重的干旱在2010年袭击了云南省。(强调主语a severe drought)it was yunnan province that a severe drought hit in the year of 2010. 是云南省在2010年遭受了一场严重的干旱袭击。 (强调宾语yunnan province) it was in the year of 2010 that a severe drought hit yunnan province. 是在2010年一场严重的干旱袭击了云南省。(强调状语in the year of 2010)【考例】 johns success has nothing to do with good luck. it is years of hard work has made him what he is today. a. why b. when c. when d. that (湖南 2010) it was by making great efforts she caught up with other students. a. how b. when c. what d. that (上海春 2010)【答案】 d d 2. 强调结构亦可强调短语和从句。如:i suspected it was under her orders that you brought him here. 我怀疑你是照她的吩咐才把他带到这儿来的。(强调短语under her orders)it was because i wanted to buy a dictionary that i went to the town yesterday. 我昨天是由于想买一本字典而进城的。(强调because从句)it was the education that he received when studyingabroad that has made him such an excellent manager.是他在国外学习接受的教育使他成为这样了不起的一个经理。(被强调成分the education 后接一个that引导的定语从句he received when studying abroad) 【考例】 where did you get to know her? it was on the farm we worked.
