人教版新目标英语八年级下册Unit 5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came ?Section A 1a-1c教学设计学情分析:由于我校学生大多是农村学生,小学生少接触英语,从进入初中才开始学习,学生平时学习英语的途径也很少基本上就是通过课堂,因此学生英语水平较差,理解能力也较弱,若果一节课从1a学到2d的话,就会走了过场,学生可能也会比较吃力,综合以上因素,我设计的本节课是从1a到1c ,并在教学过程中尽可能的使用学生自己的图片和自己所经历的事情。一、教学目标1、语言目标(1)语言结构:初步理解过去进行时态 sb. + was /were + doing(2)语言功能:尝试利用过去进行时态讲述过去发生的故事。(3)知识目标:学习并会运用词汇: heavily, rainstorm, at the time of, earthquake等。句型:What was she /were you/they doing when the rainstorm came ? She was / I /They were waiting for the bus .2、能力目标:通过理解关键词汇和目标语言,学生能够描述过去发生的事情。3、情感目标:鼓励学生在日常生活中尽可能多的帮助别人。二、教学重点及难点重点:语法:学习过去进行时的用法(1)过去进行时的用法:表示在过去某一时刻或某一段时间内正在进行的动作。(2)过去进行时态中动词形式:sb. + was /were + doing (主语为第一、第三人称单数时,用was, 其他人称用were.)21cnjy难点:学生会运用过去进行时态描述过去发生的事情。三、教学方法:启发式教学、任务型教学,情景教学四、学法指导:课前预习法、观察发现法、知识迁移法五、教学手段:主要以现代化多媒体辅助教学,贯穿整个教学过程。增加了直观性和趣味性,加大了课堂密度,提高了教学效果。六、教学策略:采用对话、表演、游戏、竞赛的学习策略。注重评价方式和鼓励措施。七、教学过程Step1.Lead-in1 通过询问天气状况和利用声音学习新单词heavily并导入新单词rainstorm2 Watch the video” what are you waiting for?” 学生通过观看视频进入英语环境,调节心情同时复习现在进行时态,以便于和后面将要学习的过去进行时态相互比较。3 Answer three questions 1.What time is it now? 2.What are we doing now ? 3.What were we doing at this time yesterday? 通过三个问题导入新课,使学生通过时间进一步通过现在进行时态理解过去进行时态。Step2.Presentation1.教师出示自己昨天下午2:00在家洗餐具的图片,并告知学生I was doing the dishes at myhome ?让学生回忆昨天的这个时刻他们正在干什么,利用幻灯片,出示部分学生昨天下午2:00的活动的图片,并询问What were you doing at 2:00 p.m yesterday?学生回答后,出示本节课新的句型What was he doing ?并引导学生回答 He was ./ She was. They were .变化人称练习过去进行时态。 同时引入时间状语at that time yesterday.让学生学会使用 -What was he/she /were you/they doing at 2:00p.m yesterday /at that time yesterday? -I /She /He was /They were 21教育网通过这几组对话引导学生理解并尝试总结出过去进行时态的定义和结构。给学生创造一个真实的语境,练习方式多样化,能较好的吸引学生们的注意力,激起他们的求知欲,使他们能以一种积极情绪投入到课堂活动中。2.GuessingShow the picture, guess what he /she was doing at that time yesterday.Picture1. -What was he doing at that time yesterday? -He was playing ping-pang .Picture2. -What was he doing at that time yesterday? -He was throwing a bottle .Picture3. -What was she doing at that time yesterday? -She was eating an icecream .通过猜图片中的名人过去正在干什么,提起课堂的气氛,学生的兴趣,更进一步的体会过去进行时态。3. show three pictures to lead in the sentences:-What was he /she/were they doing when you saw him/her/them?- When I saw him, he was climbing. He was climbing when I saw him.有此句型引入由when 引导的时间状语从句。4. show the picture of rainstorm and some pictures what people were doing in the rainstorm to learn the conversations.-What was he/she / were they doing when the rainstorm came? at the time of the rainstorm?通过图片引入目标句型,学生先感知在练习。Step3. ListeningShow the picture and ask ss look at the pictures carefully. Then tell ss : there was a rainstorm yesterday, so the TV reporter did a survey about what they were doing at the time of the rainstorm. Listen to the TV report and circle the correct responses. a. doing my homework / studying b. playing basketball / reading c. going to work / waiting for the bus d. walking home / shopping 检查答案时,第一幅图老师给出示范,其他几幅图学生按照教师的示范做对话检查,巩固练习目标句型。Step4. Pair workShow the picture that ss won the prize to practice the target language A:What were you doing when you heard the news?B:I was when I heard the news.Step5. Group workShow the picture of the Wenchuan earthquake, ss remember what they were doing at that time .do group work to practice the following conversation . A:What were you doing when the Wenchuan earthquake happened?B:I was when it happened.C:What was he/she doing when the Wenchuan earthquake happened?D:He/She was when it happened.Step6. Writing Kimis favorite motorbike was stolen(被偷) at 7:00 last night! So he called the policeman .Should we help him? So lets help him and tell him what you were doing at 7:00 last night.
