It refers not only to a piece of real estate where we might build a factory, but it also means all the raw materials used for production.Some materials are on the earths surface, and some are under the surface. And some raw materials may be extracted from the air. All of the raw materials for production comes from the land, the air, and the oceans.4) What does the term “labor” refer to in this passage?The key comes from Paragraph 4:It refers to the use of mental or physical work to produce goods.
