Learn the spirit of the mountain climbers.2、 学情分析 学生现在虽然学习的是八年级下册的内容,但是由于学生整体基础比较差,而且学习程度参差不齐,所以现在的内容对他们来说有些难度。但是应该在重视夯实学生基础上,慢慢不断地锻炼学生的阅读能力,进而为写作打下基础。三、重点难点 1. To retell the text.四、教学准备multimedia, computer, blackboard五、教学过程 活动1【导入】导入 播放歌曲并让学生猜测歌曲的名字。 设计意图:慢慢培养学生对英语的兴趣,同时也可以练习他们的听力。活动2【复习】复习 Which is the highest mountain in the world? Which is the longest river in Asia? PPT展示相应的图片(5幅),教师问,学生抢答,答对的小组加分。 设计意图:小组活动在复习上节课所学的同时也活跃了课堂气氛。活动3【自学】新单词 (13个单词) PPT展示图片让学生猜单词,然后教师讲解新单词,并造句子,让学生更深层次的了解并记住单词,活学活用。 设计意图:新单词活学活用,培养他们的发散性思维。活动4【活动】自学板块 一、小组活动Pre-reading What do you know about Qomolangma? Even more serious difficulties include freezing weather conditions and heavy storms.1) Difficulty既可作可数名词也可作不可数名词,在此用作可数名词。做可数名词时,difficulty常用作复数,表示具体概念,即:各种各样的“困难; 难事; 难题”。例如:People learning a new language may face some difficulties.人们学习一门新的语言时可能会遇到一些困难。作不可数名词时,difficulty可译作“困难;艰难;辛苦;费劲”,例如:He had great difficulty in finding a new job.他找新的工作费了很大劲。We found the house without difficulty.我们轻而易举的找到了那座房子。2) include表示“包括;包含”,是一个及物动词。例如:Does your price of the bike include this light?你们的车价包含这盏车灯吗?3. It is also very hard to take in air as you get near the top. It is + adj. + to do sth.,it作形式主语放在句首,而把真正的主语放在句尾。常用于此句型的形容词有important, difficult, dangerous, necessary, useful, possible等,用来对to do sth.进行说明。此句型可以转换成To do sth. is + adj.。e.g. It is important to study English well.学好英语很困难。Its very difficult to climb Qomolangma.攀登珠穆朗玛峰很难。The spirit of these climbers shows us that we should never give up trying to achieve our dreams. 1) give up意为“放弃”,后面可以接名词、代词或V-ing形式作宾语。注意:如果其宾语是名词,那么名词可以放在give和up之间,也可以放在 up之后;如果其宾语是代词,那么代词只能放在 give和up之间。如:My uncle wants to give up drinking wine. 我叔叔想戒酒。Although English isnt easy to learn, I wont give it up. 虽然英语不易学,但我不会放弃。 2)achieve our dream相当于make our dreams come true,其中动词achieve表示“(通过努力) 实现;取得;获取;达到(梦想、成绩、成功、目的)”等。例如:e.g. He achieved great success in a short time.他用很短的时间取得了极大的成功。 Lin Tao achieved very good exam results.林涛考试取得了很好的成绩。5. Why do so many people try to climb this mountain even though it is dangerous? even though用作从属连词,意为“即使;尽管”,相当于even if,引导让步状语从句,一般不与并列连词but连用。如: Mr. Wang will come on time even though it rains.尽管下雨,但王老师会按时来。设计意图:让学生在掌握课文的同时也了解其中涉及到的相关的语法知识点,知道考试的重难点,学会拓展,一题多解。活动7 【作业】作业布置Retell the article, then preview the Grammar focus.活动8 【板书】板书设计Unit 7 Whats the highest mountain in the world?第二课时 Section A 3a-3c1.
