The relevant words and dialogues: What do you know about ?2.Be able to talk.【教学难点】The relevant words and dialogues: speak, French, English, Canada 课前准备 Recorder, Multimedia. 教学过程Step 1. Greetings and warm-up activities and have a write.T: Just now you finished the chart. Now lets choose a country and write about it. For example: What do you know about Canada? Canada is famous for maple leaves. People there speak English and French. Toronto is a big city. Its in the southeast of Canada. You can visit the CN Tower. Can you?Ss: Yes!T: Lets write!学生自己完成练习，教师班内巡视，及时指导与评价。T: Boys and girls, you should know: Its necessary to know more about other countries. Are you clear?Ss: Yes!Step 2. Think, write and talk T: Look here! (点击课件，出现B部分图片)Whats this? S: Koala.T: What country can we see it?S: Australia. (学生边说教师边在黑板上板书)T: What do you know about Australia?S: (学生边说教师边在黑板上板书)T: Now its your turn to think and write.学生自己看图，思考，完成表格。班内展示。T: Are you right? Read the text and tell the main idea of the text in the students own wordsLet the students speak in front of the class. Encourage them not to be shy when they stand there. Give the students chances to speak loudly in front of the class.Step 4. Encourage the students to ask more questions about this part1. Divide the class into groups of three or four to finish the task. 2. Ask all of the students to take part in the discussion.
