Were going to build a bigger subway.Difficult points: work out the plansTeaching procedures:Step 1: warming-up and revision Ask students what they are going to go next year. Students talk about their New Years resolution. We can use chin work to finish this activity by asking one by one. Then introduce the teachers resolution about next year: Im going to exercise to keep fit and try to do learn for knowledge.Step2: Reading Ask students to read the passage in the textbook about the Now Years resolutions. Read the passage with different purposeFast reading: read the passage quickly with the two questions.1. Did they get 1000 letters, faxes and e-mails from their readers?2. What job does the old lady want to get?Careful reading: read it carefully and find what readers want to do next year. So you can see that some good resolutions are really necessary for us. Since we have our plans, just try our best to fulfill them and be a better man. Step 5: Homework:Our school is our home. What should we do to make it better?
