Teaching PlanUnit 6 At the Market Lesson 109 English Education Class OneZhou Huijun周 慧 珺.Teaching objects Knowledge: Students will be able to: can speak, spell, understand and use the new words: flour, meat, salt, sugar, corn, lettuce, beans, cucumbers. Ability: Students will be able to learn to use these words in the real scenes and exercises . Emotion: Design real task, improve students practical ability. Making dumplings for their parents, letting them know they should give presents to their elders.Key points of teaching: Can speak, spell, understand and use the new words.Teaching difficulties:Compare flour and flower; know the pronunciation of the two words are the same. Master beans and cucumbers are uncountable words.Analysis of study:Students have mastered words of fruit and have prepared the lesson before class. They will bring the food of the new words. The seats will be put in rectangle. Teaching methods:Elicitation method of teaching, instruction method and teach by scenes.Teaching aids:Multi-media, blackboard, food and cards.Teaching procedures:Step 1.Greeting T: Good morning, boys and girls. Glad to meet you! How are you today? Ss: T: Yesterday I ate an apple, its very sweet. What fruit did you eat? Ss: T: Everyone has different taste. Somebody likes apple, somebody likes peach. Now, lets sing a song about fruits to review these words. (purpose:review the last lesson and bring the students into English atmosphere)Step 2.Warm-up T: Wow, you are great! You can say your favorite fruit. Fruits are green food, and they are good for your health. Vegetables are also good to your health. Can you say your favorite vegetable? Who can?Ss: T: Since I asked you bring these foods before class, have you bring them? Can you show me?(Students have brought the food of the new words)Ss: Step 3.PresentationT: Very good! You review the words perfectly! I want to make dumplings. I want some meat. Who brought meat?S: Me.T: Wow, you have meat. Please read after me. MeatS: MeatT: Right!Teach the whole class please.Ss: T: Clever! (To the student who have meat) So can you sell some to me? (The seats have been put in rectangle.)S: Yes.T: Thank you! How much is it?S: Ten yuan.T: Here the money. (Learn the new words one by one using this method. When come across salt and sugar, letting the students taste it. And show the pictures when teaching beans and cucumbers.)Step 4.Practice1) Showing pictures of the new words by multi-media and ask students who still remember the pronunciation of the word. After answering, teacher show the right answer . If somebody is right, allow him or her teach the whole class.2) Using multi-media to do the connect & match exercise3) Ask students which word has the same pronunciation as flour, pointing out its a kind of plant. If its difficult for the students, the teacher can show the picture by the multi-media.4) Teach guides the whole class to read the new words again. After it, the students spell the words by small groups.5) Playing guessing game. Using the multi-media to show the first letter, and then let students guess whats the word we learnt today.6) Writing the word according the picture on the blackboard.Step 5.Play Watching a short video about shopping, allow the students buy food from each other. The teacher broadcast a song to make the atmosphere high.Step 6 .Homework1) Listen and read the new words. 2) Copy the words five times each.3) Making dumplings using the food boug
