COMPRESSOR PLANTThe compressor unit is meant to be continuously running throughout the year.This chapter describes the three interacting systems of the compressor plant: The gas, the lube oil andthe cooling water system.2. 压缩机厂压缩机组是一年四季不断运行。本章介绍的压缩机厂的三个交互系统:气体,润滑油和冷却水系统。2.1 General Description and Gas SystemThe heart of the compressor unit is the five-stage labyrinth-piston compressor, type 5LP250-5A_1. It is driven by an electric motor.The process gas is cooled after each compression stage. In these cases, nitrogen replaces the process gas. The main suction line is therefore connected to a nitrogen supply line and a separate nitrogen supply line to the crankcase of the compressor. The client has to make sure that there is enough nitrogen available from the suction lines, so that the compressor is not facing a vacuum during start-up with nitrogen. All three by-passes combined together work as a by-pass overall. For a more detailed description, see chapter 6 Continuous Operation.容量控制压缩机的能力,以适应从冷箱的气流。调整能力是由三个通行证,每个配有自动阀门的手段。所有这三个传递结合在一起工作作为通过整体。对于更详细的说明,请参阅第6章连续运行。Shut DownIn case of compressor shut-down, at first, all the automated valves take their fail safe position: The by-pass valves close and the discharge vent valve (PV-0217604) opens.In case of normal shut-down, the by-pass valves will re-open in a cascade when their upstream pressure is lower then the downstream pressure in order to vent the plant through the discharge vent valve. Details are given in section 7.1 Normal Stop.In case of emergency shut-down, the by-pass valves and the vent valve will remain in their fail safe position. If not released manually, the gas trapped by the by-pass valves will partly flow through the piston rod packings to the crankcase and partly through the compressor cylinders to the vent valve. There is a dedicated section ref. to.3.3 describing the purging of the compressor unit.The other side of the compressor crankcase, L13, is connected to the tail gas. During normal operation,there is no gas flow through L13. But in the following cases, there is gas flow:. through HV-13, during purging of crankcase. when the pressure in the crankcase rises above 0.15 MPa g (e.g. caused by piston rod packing failure or if the pressure on the suction side of the compressor rises above 0.15 MPa g), the self-acting valve PCV-0217608 will open releasing the pressure to the tail gas. A pressure control valve (PDCV) maintains the oil pressure at a constant differential pressure between the oil sump and the discharge side of the oil pumps. The excess oil flows back to the oil sump. . Parallel to the PDCV, there is a pressure safety valve. . the oil cooler evacuates the heat from the oil system during operation of the compressor. . Before re-entering the compressor, the oil goes through a filter. In the compressor, the oil lubricates the mechanical parts, also withdrawing heat. . The oil cycle is completed and the oil flows back into the oil sump. If in automatic mode, master and slave are toggled after each oil pump start. For P021761A, only FS-0217651 is relevant. The only time the oil heater is needed is during compressor stand-still with low ambient temperature.
