Every time I go on streets there are only one sort of thing that can arise my attention at the possibly fastest rate: advertisements at the shopwindows of the stores and those are really good-looking. Like sell phone advertisements, smooth lines of the contours, shining sparks on the edges, with a perfect background of green, blue or black, and without being lacked of CGI technique. You can hardly withstand the attraction of such beautiful images and wish to see what the really stuffs are like. And thats the usages of advertisements, to stimulate us to interests.I have not only once been attracted by such amazing advertisements and walked into the stores. Every time I entered the store gate and stopped by the front of the shopwindows, looked through the glass and see the products, theyve all been different to those in the advertisements. The most obvious differences are the exterior of the keyboard. The reasons why most advertisements make products seem much better than they really are are because the purpose of advertisements is to fasinate the consumers. As so as the consumers being fasinated, a desire of consumption will emerge. And then people will go into the stores and view the product, then they may be interested by some of them and then purchase one. In order to attain the purpose, the businesses are reqired to present the consumers a perfect image; otherwise the consumers may not be interested. Who wants a faulty product? And thats the reasons why most advertisements make products seem much better than they really are.Answer: The advertisement informs the consumer about qualities and price of goods and this makes purchasing easy for the consumers. As the prices are already advertised, the consumers cannot be over charged. By regular advertisement, the manufacturer can sell the goods directly to the consumers without depending on middlemen this eliminates the Middlemans charges and profit. It means higher profit to the manufacturer and lower prices to the consumers. It helps in improvement of the quality of the goods. The consumers are attracted by the quality of the products that are advertised. If the consumers are convinced that the quality is the same that is advertised, they continue buying. It helps the consumer to save time. As the consumer has already been the consumer is not required to spend time in getting the products. It raises the living standard of consumers. It provides knowledge about the new designs of the commodities to consumers and thus consumers consume those commodities and increase their living standard.Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems. However, I tend to believe there are more and better solutions than that.Increasing the price of petrol will defiantly help control the number of private cars but it also will cause side effect for public transportations. Not only will adding transportation company running budget but also will end it up paid by all passengers. Take Beijing as example, all passengers need pay extra 3RMB for fuel cost, but this policy didnt help the fact of Beijing Transportation situation. Besides rising price of petrol, other measures could be taken for this situation. First of all, public transportation system could improve and took place of private car usage. Buses, subways, taxies and even public bicycle system recently appears in many cities, people could easily go around by mature public traffic systems in stand of private cars. Moreover, for push the public and more environmental friendly vehicles, government could publish and support with many benefit regulations, such as discount price tickets and priority for public vehicles parking area etc. Last but not least, developing clean fuel is another important approach for help city pollution.
