Analysis of Teaching ContentLesson 5 is the fifth lesson in Unit 1, Book 9.This unit focus on the subject A Trip to Beijing, Lesson 5 mainly talks about something what the trip need before they traveled, this lesson to master the students can describe the clothes. 教学目标【知识目标】1. To master the words: this, that, these, those.2. To master the sentence: I like. , I dont like. .【能力目标】Improve the students ability of speaking, listening, reading and writing. 【情感目标】Stimulate interest in learning English, and development of the students ability of using synthetic language.【教学重点】Students can describe the clothes with the sentences “ I like.”, and “ I dont like.”.【教学难点】Students can master the words “ those ”, and “ these ”. 课前准备Tape recorder, Multimedia 教学过程Step 1. Warm-up1. Greeting:T: Hello,everyone. How are you?Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?T: Im fine , thanks. Nice to see you again.Ss: Glad to see you again.2. Sing the song: I love coffee.Step 2. Presentation and practice1. Lead in: free talk.(1) How the weather today?(2) What are you wearing?2. Show the pictures and learn the words about clothes.3. Read the words.4. Read the conversation and circle the new words.5. Learn the word “ticket”.6. Read the conversation again and answer the questions:(1) What do they need for the trip?(2) What clothes does Li Ming need?7. Check the answers.8. Read the conversation.9. Read the conversation in “I like these trousers” and answer the questions:(1) What clothes does Li Ming like?(2) Whats Li Mings favourite colour?10. Check the answers.11. Read the conversation.12. Practice the sentences and the words “this”, “that”, “these”, and :those:Teacher show the clothes and tell students what I like.T: Look at these clothes, I like this shirt, and I dont like these socks. What about you?13. Report.Step 3. Consolidation1. Group work: Imagine: youre going to a trip.(1) Where do you want to go?(2) What do you need for the trip?(3) What clothes do you like?2. Show it.3.
