Good morning, everyone! We study Module 7 today. What day is it today? Can you tell me? Yes, it is Monday. What are your lessons today? Do you have maths, chemistry, or Chinese today? Which one of them do you like best? I like Chinese very much. I love English. I dont like maths very much. Do you like maths? What do you have in this afternoon? Yes, in the afternoon, you have art and history. Now, lets begin our new lesson! Step 4 Task One: listening and speaking (Activity 1,2)Look at the pictures,listen and repeat the timeThere are four pictures here. Each one of them shows a different time. Please look at the pictures first. Try to say the time yourself. Now listen to the tape and repeat the time after it. 2 Match the pictures and the sentences.Look at these four pictures. Can you match them with the sentences on the right? Its not hard work, right? Now look at your own watch. What time is it now? 3 Match the words with the picturesNow, lets study some new words. Here are seven pictures. What do we see in these pictures? The second one is a English textbook. The sixth one is some glass bottles used for chemical experiment. The third one is a man in ancient clothes. The seventh one looks like a satellite. Can you match the words with the pictures here? Step 5 Task Two: Listening and reading(Activity 3) Now we are going to listen and read. Daming, Betty, and Lingling are talking about something. Listen carefully. Now lets go on to read the conversation. While reading try to cut/ the sentences into parts, blacken the predicates, shade the connectives and underline the expressions. Now write all the expressions in your Expression Book. Step 6 Task Three : Listening and speaking Listen and read the passage once again. What can we learn from the passage? It is Friday today. What are Damings lessons today? He has Chinese, science and maths in the morning. Does he like maths? Yes, Daming likes maths. What about Lingling? No, she doesnt like maths. Lingling doesnt have science today. In the afternoon, she has art and English. Do you know Bettys lessons today? Please check () the true sentences now. Elicit the answers from the whole class with students by asking and answering Play the recording , check in pairs Read after the recording together first. Then Read it in groups. Speaking Do Activity 4 by themselves first. Check their answers in pairs.Step 7 Speaking(Activity 6) I would like to hear some answers from you in this section. Tell me about your lessons please. Today please tell us something about your school day. For example, I will first talk about my school day. I am Cecilia. Im thirteen and I go to River School. I get up at half past six in the morning and have breakfast. My school is a little far from my home. I go to school at seven oclock by bus. Lessons start at eight oclock. We have four lessons in the morning. My favourite lesson is Chinese. In the break, I go to the playground and play football with my friends. I have lunch in the dining hall at twelve oclock. I like dumplings. Lessons start in the afternoon at half past two in summer. I have two lessons in the afternoon. I go home at five oclock in the afternoon. Tell me something about your school day, OK?Step 4 Task One: Reading-Activity 1 Read the text and put the pictures in order. This text is about Alexs school day. Alex tells us many things about his school day. When does he get up in the morning? When does he go to school? What is his schools name? Read the text twice. For the first time, Please try to cut(断句)/ the sentences into parts, blacken(涂黑)the predicates, shade(加影)the connectives and underline(划线)the expressions. He doesnt like football. What about you? He has meat and rice, with vegetables or hamburgers for lunch. What about you? What do you have for lunch? Work with your partner. Say as many sentences as you can. Tell us about your own school day. Check in pairs and then call back answers from the whole class. Solve the problems. Write sentences with and then.
