Unit6 An old man tried to move the mountains.Section B(2a-2e)教学设计教学目标:1. 学生将理解scene, stepmother, wife, husband, whole, moonlight, shine, bright, brave, lead, leadto等词汇和短语的意义。2. 学生将运用扫读策略阅读课文,明确童话剧本的主要特点(有场景和对话);运用寻读和悟读策略阅读课文,逐步了解文本信息。 3. 学生将能表演短剧,理解故事的发展情节。 4. 通过对文本的学习,是学生对中外童话故事产生兴趣,增强文化意识和阅读兴趣。教学重点:运用各种阅读策略阅读短文,获得相关信息,提高学生们的综合阅读能力。教学难点: 如何运用阅读技巧读文,解决问题。教学过程:Step 1: Warming-up1Show one picture of the story The Emperors New Clothes. And ask some questions about it. e.g. T: Look at the picture. Do you know this story? Whats the name of this story? S1: The Emperors New Clothes. T: It is an old traditional story. It is also called a fairy tale. Can you guess the meaning of a fairy tale?S2: 童话故事。T: Yes. Today well learn another fairy tale. What is it ?Do you want to know? Now lets go into Unit6 An old man tried to move the mountains.Section B(2a-2e).(导入新课)(设计意图:出示童话故事“皇帝的新装”来引出英文童话故事的说法,从而引出新课。)Step 2: PresentationI. T: I think every one has read many fairy tales since we were young. Ill give you some pictures. Please tell me their English names and Chinese names. Show some pictures of fairy tales.(Sleeping Beauty 睡美人Cinderella 灰姑娘Little Red Riding Hood 小红帽)II. Present the new words on the big screen and ask the students to read them and say their Chinese meanings and speech. (Students learned the words last lesson.)III. Have students some tasks to finish. Task one: Read the passage quickly and answer the questions.1. Is it a letter or a play ? 2. How do you know its a play?(设计意图:运用扫读策略阅读课文,让学生初步了解课文,明确童话剧本的主要特点:有场景和对话。Task Two: Read and match each description below with the correct scene. Then turn the following sentences into Chinese.1. One year, the weather was so dry that no food would grow.2. The wife told her husband that unless he left the children to die in the forest, the whole family would die.3. As soon as you wake up, you must go to the forest with your father.4. We thought you were never coming back.5. look! Its leading us to that wonderful house made of bread, cake, candy.6.
