Unit 4 Why dont you talk to your parents? Section A (3a-3c)教材分析:本课所教授的材料内容是人教版八年级下册第四单元第二课时,第二课时在整个模块中起着中坚的作用,在课程类型上由第一课时的强化听说逐渐过渡到读写环节。通过两封书信,呈现语言知识。本单元的话题(Topic)是“Interpersonal communication(人际交往)”;功能项目(Functions)是“Talk about problems (谈论困难);Give advice (提出建议)。本单元主要探讨当代中小学生所面临的种种压力和困境。学会询问、陈述自己或他人的困难和麻烦;并针对别人的困境,使用情态动词could,should以及Why dont you.?句型提出解决的办法和建议;通过学习两封书信的学习,让学生学会换位思考,帮助他们逐步建立正确、积极的生活态度和价值观: 人的一生并不都是一帆风顺的,难免有一些挫折的困难,如果生活中发生了一些不尽如人意的问题,我们学会冷静对待,寻求合理的办法理性地去解决。 语言知识目标:词汇:能够正确使用下列单词和短语:get on with; relation, communication, argue, cloud, elder, instead, whatever, nervous, offer, proper, secondly, communication, explain, clear 语法:使用情态动词could,should以及Why dont you.?句型听:能听懂简单的问题;说: 能够简单介绍自己遇到的问题;读:能够读懂他人给出的建议;写:能借助部分语言提示,能就别人的问题提出相应的建议等;情感态度价值观:人的一生并不都是一帆风顺的,难免有一些挫折的困难,如果生活中发生了一些不尽如人意的问题,我们学会冷静对待,学会合理的办法理性地去解决。 学习策略与方法:通过合作学习和竞争体质鼓励学生积极参与讨论;引导学生学会将谈论的话题继续下去,进行较为深入的讨论,并能将所学习的相关知识运用到实际中。教学工具:多媒体教学步骤:I.教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 学习掌握下列词汇:get on with; relation, communication, argue, cloud, elder, instead, whatever, nervous, offer, proper, secondly, communication, explain, clear 2)阅读短文,能按要求找到相应的信息。3)通过阅读提高学生们的阅读能力。4) 了解在如果生活中发生了一些不尽如人意的问题,应当如何面对理性地去解决。2. 情感态度价值观目标:人的一生并不都是一帆风顺的,难免有一些挫折的困难,如果生活中发生了一些不尽如人意的问题,我们学会冷静对待,学会合理的办法去理性地去解决。 II.教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 掌握本部分出现的生词和词组,达到熟练运用的目标。2) 阅读短文,获得相关的信息。通过阅读练习,来提高阅读能力。2. 教学难点:1) 阅读短文,获得相关的信息的能力。2) 理解并运用所学的词汇及表达方式。III.教学过程Step1 Before- reading 1. A brief revision.2. Watch a video and sayWho is the girl? (Anna from Canada.)Why is she talking to her mother? (She is giving some advice to her mother because her parents often fight and her mother isnt friendly to her father.)
