八年级英语上册module 4 education unit 2 project hope has helped many schools教学设计 课型：读写课时间：40分钟 一教材分析：本节课教学内容是外研版新标准英语教材初二上册module 4 unit 2，是一节读写课，围绕希望工程为贫困助学活动的话题展开，同时让学生通过了解希望工程，了解不同地区儿童的学习状况，以及国内外人士为希望工程做出的贡献，培养学生的爱心以及增加对社会的责任感。活动内容包括：通过活动1、4、5，帮助学生复习英语中数字的表达法及学习阅读材料中要接触到的关键词汇。接着通过各种听，说，读、写活动，帮助学生学会把握文章中心思想的方法、掌握文章的主要内容希望工程助学的事实。操练and,or和but连接的并列句，理解现在完成时的概念及用法。学会恰当地运用现在完成时写出与希望工程相关的句子，为写出完整的语篇作铺垫。二学情分析： 学生已经在module2和module3接触和学习了“现在完成时”。所以理解本文中出现的用现在完成时介绍“希望工程”的句子不会有难度。课前要求学生上网搜索了解“希望工程”和“希望工程”为人民所做的贡献等内容。为能更深刻理解文章做好准备。同时，我在整堂课中采取提供任务，引入竞争机制，小组合作形式，从而让学生参与课堂的积极性以及对课堂的专注度大大提高。三设计理念： 1.现在完成时是一个不容易理解的时态，本模块通过以希望工程为题，围绕希望工程对贫困儿童求学的救助活动，让学生在情景中理解，所以，课程设计把重点放在内容上，而不是语法上。通过对希望工程等话题的探讨，培养学生正确使用现在完成时及相关的时间状语的能力。 2.针对教学对象是生活在城市的过着舒适生活的青少年，对贫困地区孩子的生活和对能上学的渴望理解不够透彻，所以在教学中运用视频，图片。通过强烈对比，让学生有深刻的印象，同时珍惜自己现在的生活。 3.教学过程中，通过设置任务，加入竞争机制，让学生小组合作，共同探究完成任务，充分发挥学生作为课堂主体，学会自主学习。四设计思路：本课时的设计我分为七步：第一，出示汉语或是音标检查学生对新单词的记忆；出示数字，让学生念出英文，检查学生对数字读法。为理解文章做出铺垫。第二，以话题“do you have a happy life?”引出有关贫困地区学生生活情况的视频。激活背景知识，让学生增进对希望工程的了解。第三，（1）课本活动一的内容，根据图表信息交流不仅可以训练现在完成时的用法，为接下来的阅读提供支持。（2）要求学生通过阅读判断文章主题，从而确定文章大意。本步骤采用小组活动，在于训练学生的整体理解能力。（3）本活动设置两项内容，第一部分是判断句子对错，第二部分要求学生根据理解回答问题。此活动为产出性理解活动，要求学生不单只要理解文章，同时还必须具有一定的语言表达能力。两项活动从理解角度由易到难，符合学生理解的过程。第四，设置短文填空，要求学生通过补全文章，使学生回忆、巩固文章内容及主要知识点，加深巩固学习印象与效果。第五，情感教育。本活动通过贫困儿童在希望工程的帮助下改变生活图片和事实经历，引起学生共鸣，增强效果。同时与本课一开始起了呼应的效果，从而进一步让学生明白希望工程的伟大。呼吁学生要关爱他人，立志努力学习，长大做个有益社会的人。六，总结重点短语，巩固知识。第七，小组讨论并进行自我评价，然后教师给予每个小组评价，选出最佳小组。本节课通过各种听，说，读，写活动帮助学生学会把握文章中心思想的方法，掌握文章的主要内容-希望工程助学的内容，操练现在完成时的句子，并用语言知识谈论自己对生活的看法。五学习策略：培养自主学习的能力与合作精神，在活动中去参与和体验，运用英语。六教学目标： 语言知识目标：1.key words：raise, describe, drop, ill, important, pay, perhaps, drop out of school, look after, hear of, with the help of2.key structure: have/has+v.-ed3.learn to express numbers.技能目标：1. to understand what project hope has done. 2. to write about what one has achieved in english study.情感目标：1.让学生更多地了解希望工程，珍惜自己的学习机会，努力学习；2.通过本节课的学习，培养学生的爱心，增强社会责任感。七教学重难点1.key points：1）master the key words and expressions.2) learn to express numbers.2.difficulties： enable students talk about project hope.八教具：多媒体电脑， cai课件， 评价表九.教学过程：步骤教师活动学生活动设计意图预设时间step1.revision把学生分成男、女生两组形式进行抢答。1.check the words.2.express some numbers.教师总结大数的读法男、女生积极抢答。为本组增分。课前引入竞争机制，吸引学生注意力。同时复习词汇，和数字读法为理解课文做好铺垫。2minsstep2pre-reading1.教师扮演记者，随机提问.do you have a happy life?(引导学生说出“happy” or” unhappy”的原因。)2.观看视频。t: we are at school. we have a beautiful school and good learning conditions. but there are many children have the different life from us. lets watch the video.1. answer the question, and tell the reason?2.watch the video.1. 导入话题，创设良好的语言环境，为进入下一步骤做好情感上的准备。2.通过视频让学生感受世界许多地区的孩子因为贫穷而辍学和了解希望工程所做的事，让学生更珍惜现在美好的时光。5minsstep3reading1. work in pairs.read and talk about project hope has done in province in 2005.(activity 1) 2. gobal reading.1)read the passage and choose the main idea.a. helping poor children go to school. b. talking about education.c. describing life for poor families.3. detail reading.1) read the passage as fast as possible, choose “t”or “f”:a)liu sanzi is from a village. b)there are six people in liu sanzis family. c)project hope has built many libraries and schools with this money.d)many children from poor families still need help. e) thousands of children have better lives with the help of project hope. 2) read the passage silently and find out the answers to the questions.a) did liu sanzi finish studying?b). why did li yinming stop going to school?c) when did he stop going to school?d) who has project hope raised money for?e) did shens school have lots of books last year?
