Green design to the Industrial Design has brought additional challenges, it also brings more opportunities. 2. 译文: 绿色设计与情感回归 “绿色设计”是20世纪80年代末出现的一股国际设计潮流。早在20世纪60年代末著名的工业设计师及教育家维可多佩帕尼克就出版了在设计界引起强烈反响的著作为现实生活而设计在书中提出了在当时与众不同的观点,他认为我们周边的事物都是由设计师创造的,设计师在市场销售和用户满意度方面不单单只是起到“美化”的作用,同时应强调设计师的社会及道德的伦理价值。这本书的深远影响一直延续到今天。 进入21世纪,因世界各国政府对环境问题的重视,有关环境保护法规的建立,企业间的竞争,使得带有理想主义色彩的“绿色设计”潮流逐步有了现实意义。基于对环境问题的重视和了解,人们已从20世纪60年代的过于激进的“绿色运动”,发展到现今相对成熟的“绿色消费”行为,这为“绿色设计”带来了新的契机。 设计师作为产品的主要策划者和创造者,对产品的各个阶段所产生的环境问题都会有直接和间接的影响。尤其是往往由他们决定产品所选用的主要材料,产品如何制造?采用何种特殊的表面处理方式以达到最终的表面效果?产品如何使用?用后的废弃物如何处理?是否使用可回收或再利用的材料?设计师对众多问题起决定性的作用。 更重要的是,设计师是连接产品与人之间的纽带。他们能引导并改变人们使用产品的方式,同时对这些产品和服务负有责任。设计影响着人们的生活方式和社会文化的变更。人们已逐渐习惯通过设计来体现自己的社会地位和个人品味。设计是“消费主义”的推动者促使产品式样的“有计划的废止”加快产品的更换速度。设计还参与广告活动,从而进一步刺激消费。设计能够使社会文化发生变革,而它们当中的大部分代表了某些特定的生活方式,所以在理论上“绿色生活方式”也可能被人们称道和效仿这种生活方式并非必须异常节俭,而是倡导一种尽可能低调的朴素生活方式。 工业设计的商业价值日益受到众多厂家的认同和重视,设计师在不少公司的研发部门被委以重任,这一切使得设计师有机会展示他们对环保问题处理的能力,以及对环境问题的道德责任感。“绿色设计”的范围也已从非主流领域向主流领域扩展。 与“绿色设计”接近和相关的名称不少,本文中沿用人们常见的概念,统称从环境角度考虑设计的设计方法为“绿色设计”。 “绿色设计”主要关注对自然的影响和解决某些单独的问题,如资源和能量的利用率,通过回收减少废弃物等。在一些发达国家,废弃的金属和塑料等大多已可以分类回收,或为重新利用而进行了分拣。为加强家庭垃圾分拣而“应运而生“的废弃物处理方面的产品设计,成为当代工业设计的热点之一。生态设计也称之为生命周期设计,即利用生态学的思想,在产品生命周期内优先考虑产品的环境属性,除了考虑产品的性能、质量和成本外,还要考虑产品的回收和处理。同时也要考虑到产品的经济性、功能性和审美等因素。产品生态设计其基本理论基础是产业生态学中的工业代谢理论与生命周期评价。 可持续性的设计是一个比前者范围更广的设计方法。涉及更多的方面,诸如民族未来的发展相与之分享资源的后代的发展,如何在保证产品的功能的同时,减轻整个星球的负担。典型的理论是提高产品的效率的同时,推动与之相关的服务系统的发展,考察产品对于用户的必要功能延长产品的寿命,对于产品整个系统的可持续性的发展的设计,比只对产品本身的设计更为重要。可持续性产品设计的重点在于影响产品生命周期的外部因素的分析。 此外,还有其它产品设计的优化方法,如环保材料(可回收和循环利用的材料)的使用。研究表明,为了改变对环境产生影响的挥霍性消费的现状,向地球资源可持续发展的消费水平发展我们的长远目标应是努力同产品建立起更强的长久的联系。为了这些原由,在环保产品的开发中延长产品的寿命比其它的策略更重要,与此同时也要鼓励在消费者中形成可持续、长期的消费方式。设计师同时也是设计风格和品位的缔造者,产品的视觉形象对环境保护也会产生间接的影响。主要体现在产品寿命期限相对材料的选择两个方面。由于人们以往的生活方式造成大量的产品品种的过时,以及产品频繁更换的速度对环境保护产生了不好的影响如果能延长产品寿命期限,就可以减少对资源无谓的浪费。研究表明,在促成现有产品过时方面,消费者的心理因素和材质具有重要的作用。在物质经济相对繁荣的今天,往往消费者的好恶直接决定着一些产品的“寿命”。 从某些角度看,“绿色设计”不能被看作是一种风格的表现。成功的“绿色设计”的产品来自于设计师对环境问题的高度意识,并在设计和开发过程中运用设计师和相关组织的经验、知识和创造性结晶。目前大致有以下几种设计主题和发展趋势:1) 使用天然的材料以“未经加工的”形式在家具产品、建筑材料和织物中得到体现和运用。 2)怀旧的简洁的风格,精心融入“高科技”的因素,使用户感到产品是可亲的、温暖的。 3)实用且节能。 4)强调使用材
