The hanging gardens of Babylon was built by the ancient Babylonians 604-562 BC. It was located in the east bank of the River Euphrates， about 50 km south of Baghdad， Iraq. its said that its perimeter was approximately 500 metres .And about 25 metres high . From a distance, the garden is like as in the sky.In most peoples mind,the hanging gardens of Babylon was a fantastic garden with precious fruits,animals and some beautiful constructions. But perhaps it has never existed in the world. No one has ever seen it. Historian know about it only in epic.There has been a beautiful love story behind the building of the Hanging Gardens.long long ago there was a king of ancient Babylon. He is married to a princess who was very pretty so the king loved her very much.But after married, the pretty princess missed her home a lot.The king was worried about his wife. Therefore the king ordered to build a garden to imitate the homeland of princess.That was the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. What a good husband. This is my speech.
