第一课时Section A 1a2d整体设计教学目标1.掌握重点词汇和短语;alarm,begin,heavily,suddenly,strange,go off,pick up;句型:What were you/was he (she) doing when.?I/He/She was doing.when.。2.初步掌握使用过去进行时来询问或描述过去进行的事情,并学会用when描述某动作或某事件的发生。3.能在交际过程中较流利地运用所学结构和句型。4.提高获取和记录关键信息的听力技能。教学内容1.熟记相关词汇和短语。 2.学习过去进行时的基本句型以及when/while引导的句式。3.就相关话题进行交际教学。 教学重难点1.掌握过去进行时态:“was/were + doing”结构。2.掌握when/while 引导的时间状语从句以及如何使用过去进行时。 教学思路 本课教学内容是八年级下Unit 5 第一课时,主要通过讲述自己的经历,激发学生的兴趣,学习运用过去进行时,任务以听说为主,教师分享一些令自己难忘的事情,引出学生的难忘的回忆,引出单元话题,通过听说练习强化学生获取信息和分析信息的能力。情感目标定为让学生爱上英语课堂活动,鼓励他们在课堂上进行合作交流。 教学准备设计教学PPT。 教学过程Step. Lead inLeading in 【情景1】T:Lets look at some pictures first.What are they doing ?Help the students to answer:Sheis sleeping.He is shopping .They are having breakfast.She is taking a shower.Then show some pictures again and ask the students:What were they doing when the rainstorm came?Ask and answer like this: T:What was she doing when the rainstorm came?S1:She was sleeping.S2:He was shopping.S3: They were having breakfast.S4:.The teacher writes “What is/are. doing?” on the blackboard and asks in Chinese“这是什么时态?(现在进行时)”.Then write “What was/were.doing?”引入过去进行时。设计意图创设情境,利用图片引导学生由现在进行时导入过去进行时,从而导入新授。Step.PracticeT: Boys and girls! Please look at the pictures and guess where were the people at the time of the rainstorm ? Match the statements with the people in the picture.1. I was in the library.2. I was in my house. 3.
