Module 1 My classmatesUnit 1 Nice to meet you 本课时编写:合肥行知中学 王海燕教材分析重点学习介绍、询问个人信息的方法。单元重点为学生呈现了七年级四班的李老师和新同学见面时的对话。李老师首先作了自我介绍,并逐一询问了新同学的个人情况:姓名,年龄和家乡等。学生来自不同的国家,所以对话中还涉及了不同的国籍。教学目标【知识目标】Key vocabulary: Chinese, from, where, years, what about., America, American, England, China, notKey structures:Meeting new people: Hello, Nice to meet you. Giving personal information: My names Miss Li. Im a teacher and Im Chinese. Im from Wuhan. Im twelve years old. Im a student. Hes my friend. 【能力目标】Students will be able to:Listen to people introducing themselves.Introduce yourself to your new friends.Find specific information about people.Write sentences giving personal information using and.【情感目标】Students will:Learn to respect others when we talk with others.Learn to introduce yourself to your friends in the right way.教学重难点【教学重点】Learn the key words.【教学难点】Learn to introduce yourself by using “Im from and Im ”.课前准备Tape recorder, Multimedia教学过程Step 1 Warming-up (1: P2)Greet students and make a self-introduction. T: Good morning, everyone! Nice to meet you here. Im Zhang Lan. Call me Miss Zhang, OK?S: Nice to meet you, too, Miss Zhang.T: Good. Now lets get to know each other. Whats your name, please?S: My name is T: Where are you from?S: Im from Give every student a chance to introduce himself / herself. 【设计意图】用自我介绍引入本课话题,激发学生兴趣。通过师生互动,活跃课堂气氛,为正式进入课文内容的学习进行热身。Step 2 ListeningAsk students to listen to the conversation and answer the questions. T: Two new students meet for the first time. Now listen to their conversation and answer the following questions.Show the following. 1. Who are they?2. What are they doing?Play the tape again for them to work out the answers. Then check the answers. 【设计意图】让学生听力输入任务加深学生听力文本的理解。老师也可以通过问答任务检验学生的学习效果,有针对性地进行重复。Step 3 Listening and reading1 First ask students to listen and check the number of speakers.Play it again and have the students check the words they hear.Check the answers with the whole class.2 Play the recording in Activity 3 and ask the students to listen and answer the questions.Play it again and have the students check the true sentences in Activity 3.Write the words teacher, student, class, Chinese, friend, school on the blackboard. Read these words and ask students to repeat after you. 【设计思路】通过听力文本带领学生学习本课生词,进行适当拓展,让学生在生词理解上从会读、会认到会写、会用。Step 4 ActivitiesDivide the students into groups of five to practise the dialogue and ask students to act out in groups.Ask students to finish Activities 4-5 in pairs. Check the answers with the whole class.【设计意图】进行分组活动,生生互动,在语言的生成和活动的过程中内化语言规律。Step 5 Pronunciation Go on with activity 6. Explain that Activity 6 focuses on some English phonemes.T: In the recording, the pronunciations of vowels are important.Ask students to listen to and repeat the words. 【设计意图】掌握字母组合的发音,初步养成学生根据元音音素拼读单词的意识。Step 6 SpeakingStudents ask and answer about their own information.Students will introduce themselves by saying: My name is.I am .Im from Im .years old.【设计意图】通过口语输出,让学生介绍自己的基本信息并进行口头分享,既能让每个学生积极参与到活动中来,又能很好地锻炼
