Firstoff,governmenthasthemeanstoleveragebillionsofdollarsandinvestininfrastructures,education,andsocialwelfare,whichisbeyondthepowerofanyindividualsorinstitutions.Thinkaboutit,thetransportationthatwerelyonmutingfromhometowork,likethesubway,bus,andtrainsneedmultimillionsdollartoconstructandmaintain.Thetrainrunsthroughlotsofstatesandprovinces,thehighwaycoversalargeexpanseenpassingdifferentregions,andafewindividualscannotmakeagooddecision,anditshouldbeonlypossiblebyoveralldecisionmadebythecentralgovernment.Anindividualorfamilycannotbalancetheinterestsofallthepeopleinvolved.Plus,educationisalsoanotherimportantarea,inwhichgovernmentshouldplayitsrole.Generally,thetuitionofprivateschoolsarefarmorecostlythethatofthepublicones,andifthereareonlyprivateschool,howcouldthekidsfromtheseunderprivilegedfamiliesgetpropereducations.So,itisobviousthatwerelyongovernmentintheseaspects. Additionally,peopledependongovernmenttoresistforeigninvasionsandprovideshelterinfaceofcatastrophicnaturaldisasters.Forexample,currently,MuslimextremistsorganizationISISwagedafewterroristattackinmajorcitiesaroundtheworld,whichincurrednumerouscasualtiesandcolossaleconomicsloss.AfewcountrieshavedecidedtodeploymilitarytofightISIS,andsuchcostlyprojectcannotbemadepossiblebyjustafewindividual,infact,ittakesofficers,intelligencepersonnelandstaffmemberstoworktogethertowinthewar,whichcannotbegatheredtogetherwithoutthegovernment.Thesameistruefornaturaldisasters.Forexample,amagnitude8.0earthquakehitNepalinthefirsthalfofthisyears,thousandsofpeoplewerelefthomelesssincethequakedestroyedbasicallyallthehousingplexandapartments.Itwasthegovernmentandotherinstitutionswhoprovidetemporarycamp,medicationandfoodtothesevictimswhoweretraumatizedbothphysicallyandmentally.Also,thesetimelyassistanceandmoarydonationwouldnotbepossiblewithoutthearrangementsmadebythegovernment.
