教案设计The Great Sports PersonalityA Life in Sport教案背景(Teaching Plan Background)1、面向学生:中学 小学2、学科:英语3、课时:14、学生课前准备:1)网络搜索中外体育名人,特别是体操王子李宁的背景知识,包括图片2)预习课文,掌握文章基本大意3)独立完成post-reading4)标明预习遇到的问题5、本阅读课安排在录播教室上教学课题(Teaching Content)外研版高二必修5第五模块 The Great Sports Personality中的A Life in Sport学情分析(Learner Analysis)上课班级为理科实验班,学生基础好,知识面宽。因此在完成pre-reading; reading and post-reading的基础上尽量深挖教材内容,拓宽知识面,当然也要注意照顾不同层次的学生:基础薄弱的学生能读懂课文的大意,回答最基础的问题就行;中等学生要能把握文章结构,有较强的阅读理解能力;尖子生要有推理判断、分析、猜测词义等各种阅读技能,能运用所学的内容展开谈论,解决问题,因此要做到层层设问。另外理科学生有个特点就是课堂不是特别活跃,一般要老师点名才回答问题,针对这种情况,我把教材内容分解成各种tasks交给学生,让他们多做brainstorm, pair work, group work, role play等activities, 一为活跃课堂气氛,同时有利于培养学生合作学习的意识。教材分析(Material Analysis )高二必修模块五的主题是:The Great Sports Personality,此话题是中学生比较感兴趣的体育名人,涉及到国内外各种赛事和各项体育运动的多位体育明星比如体操王子李宁、拳王阿里、肯尼亚长跑名将基普凯诺、球王贝利以及马拉松运动。其中,Reading and Vocabulary是第五模块里的第二课时,是一节阅读课,也是整个模块的核心,为该单元的语法学习提供支持,为随后的功能英语、听力和写作做好词汇和句型的准备,还为最后一篇Culture Corner的阅读提供方法。它以文章A Life in Sport为载体,介绍了我国著名体育明星李宁及他的成功事迹。通过阅读让学生了解李宁辉煌的运动生涯和退役后在商海中的奋斗以及他为中国体育事业做出的不懈努力,号召同学们热爱祖国、热爱运动,最重要的是要认真领悟文章的弦外之音,即:面对困难时,不能气馁,要学习体育健儿们不畏艰难、永不放弃、奋力拼搏的精神。教学重点(Teaching important points)(1) 专业性较强的体育方面的词汇和表达(2) 学习如何谈论体育名人以及他们的个人影响(3) 如何提高Skimming, scanning等阅读技巧教学难点(Teaching difficult points)(1) 让学生根据文字表面意思对其深层含义做出正确合理的推断(2) 通过阅读教学,陶冶学生的情操,培养学生热爱体育运动、不畏艰难、奋力拼搏的精神课前通过【百度搜索】、【百度图片】、【百度视频】等,搜索了关于各种体育运动、运动会、08奥运火炬点燃瞬间的图片和视频,李宁的体操生涯和商海经历等相关资料,了解教学的重难点,确定教学形式和方法。通过搜索的文字、图片和视频资料,做成PPT,给学生提供直观感受,使导入、新课教学等都顺利展开,效果良好!三维目标(3-Dimentional Teaching Demands)1 知识目标:(1)retire, perform, retirement, background, brand, logo, guarantee, advantage purchase, designer, slogan, gymnast, specific, symbol(2)on the increase as well as together with even though ,be determined to do be made up of2能力目标:培养学生的听、说、读、写的综合能力(1)听:听懂日常用语和有关体育名人介绍的信息。(2)说:培养学生用英语进行思维与表达的能力,让学生借助图片、多媒体、阅读文章等介绍体育运动和体坛名人;对运动员不畏艰难、奋斗拼搏精神展开讨论。(3)读:通过阅读A Life in Sport,发展学生获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力,重点训练学生skimming和scanning的阅读技巧。(4)写:小结过程中,鼓励学生描述我们在遇到挫折时,应该对人生持有什么样的态度。3情感目标:(1)通过阅读活动,促进学生间的交流,增进情感,使其拥有主动实践与合作的情感意识,在交流中学会理解并尊重他人,展示积极向上的精神风貌。(2)通过了解李宁的成就、人格和抱负,教育学生热爱体育运动,学习他的拼搏精神,领悟艰辛奋斗才能获得成功的道理,从而培养克服困难的坚强意志,发掘追求成功的源动力,作为学生就是在学习上刻苦用功、努力拼搏,争做德、智、体、美、劳全面发展的合格人才。教法学法(Teaching and Learning Methodology)or教学策略(Teaching and Learning Strategies)以任务型教学法为核心,通过分层教学、合作学习和循环大课堂与PWP相互穿插的教学模式。针对不同环节,充分利用多媒体来激发学生的兴趣和求知欲,拓展学生的知识面,在教学中分别运用了情景教学法、直观法、头脑风暴法、讨论法和归纳法等教学方法,用融合法和旁白法让学生学习体育明星们的拼搏精神。 学法指导的目的就是最大限度的调动学生的主动性和积极性,帮助学生掌握学习方法,培养学习的学习能力,为学生发挥自己的聪明才智创造必要的条件,本节课我主要从以下两个方面进行指导: (1)课前指导学生如何自学,如何上网查阅资料。(2)课上重点指导学生如何运用skimming, scanning, analyzing the text,finding the key words 等技巧及读后的讨论。教师通过启发诱导,鼓励人人参与,积极用英语思维,循序渐进的培养学生的自主学习和合作讨论能力,不断挖掘学生的学习潜能,让其不断跨越台阶,最终完成本节课教学目标。教学工具: Blackboard、Multi-media etc.理论依据(Theoretical Basis)高中英语课程的总目标是使学生在义务教育阶段的基础上进一步明确英语学习的目的,发展自主学习和合作学习的能力;形成有效的英语学习策略;培养学生的综合语言运用能力。新课标要求“重视共同基础,构建发展平台”、“关注学生情感,提高人文素养”、“完善评价体系,促进学生不断发展”,同时指出“综合语言运用能力的形成建立在语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等素养整合发展的基础上”,结合NSE教材特点和本班学生实际,本节课我以任务型教学贯穿始终,引导学生自主或合作完成每部分设定的任务。阅读由易到难,步步推进,层层深入,重点训练scanning, skimming。发挥网络搜索在教学中应用优势,图文并茂让学生的学习更直观。整个教学活动以教材为载体,以学生为中心,学生参与活动贯穿始终,包括个人活动、小组活动和班级活动。在课堂教学中,学生要紧跟老师的指导,积极主动参与讨论、表演等活动,依托阅读课来提高听、说、读、写的能力,通过a Life in Sport一文,使学生进一步拥有积极进取的人生态度。教学过程(Teaching Procedures)Step 1.
