单元纲要 Unit 3 I am more outgoing than my sister.一、教材内容分析： 本单元为Im more outgoing than my sister. Section A所呈现的是人物之间的特征比较，人物的个性比较。通过不同的比较，展现形容词比较级的一般用法。借用日常交际用语，层层铺垫，展开听说读写，培养自主学习的能力。一切的活动设计都围绕比较级展开。Section B具体让学生发表自己对朋友要求的观点，比较朋友和自己的相同点与不同点。谈论个自的喜好，性格特征。通过比较的方法，达到对人生完美境界的自我追求。Self-check主要是对本单元内容做整体检测，达到巩固所学的目的。教材内容从基本语言知识到语言综合运用层层递进，听说读写依次展开，以一种循序渐进的学习程序，引导学生在做事中有目的地学习语言。二、 学习目标：xK b1.C om 1、学习形容词比较级的变化规则。2、学会使用形容词比较级。3、能用比较级的句型表达不同的或相同的人物、事物的特征。三、学习重点和难点：重点：1、学习所有词汇。2、学习形容词比较级形式的变化及相关句型。难点：1、重读闭音节结尾的，辅音字母加y的形容词的变形，多音节双音节加more的用法。2、both 的用法 。四、课时安排:为了能教好实现制定的教学目标，结合本单元教学内容和学生的学习规律，我将本单元授课课时定为5课时。具体安排如下：Period1 （section A 1a2c） Period2 （section A 2d3c）Period3 （section B 1a1e） Period4 （section B 2a-3c） Period5 （ Selfcheck ）Unit 3 Im more outgoing than my sister.备课时间：2013-08-23主备人：常晓静 审核人：八年级英语备课组Section A 1a2c （第1课时）【学习目标】：1.记住词汇- taller, shorter, thinner, longer, calmer, wilder, heavier, funnier, smarter, quieter, more outgoing, more athletic, more serious, than2.学习语法结构- S + be + adj.比较级+than+被比较对象。3.了解并初步运用形容词的比较级,能简单地描述人物外表和个性的差异。【学习重点】： 1.重点词汇和短语 popular, be good at, schoolwork, make sb. laugh 2.语法结构-S + be + adj.比较级+than+被比较对象, as.as3. 比较级的构成及用法【学习过程】：一、自主学习，整体感知 1. 教师先用所学的形容词描述外貌和性格特征, 然后进行比较, 引出本单元的主要句子结构“S + be + adj.比较级+than+被比较对象”。注意先引出单音节形容词比较级, 再引出双音节和多音节形容词比较级。如: Look at the pictures of the twins Tom and Tim. They look the same. But there are some differences between them too. Can you find them? Yes, Tom is taller than Tim.
