课堂教学设计课题:Unit 1 Living well Intensive reading Martys story授课时数: 1课时 日期:2011年05月8日设计要素设计内容教学内容分析Reading是一篇以第一人称描述Marty身残志坚,凭借顽强的毅力和社会的关爱克服生活中的种种困难,以积极的态度面对人生挑战的故事。通过本课时学习,可以帮助残疾学生树立生活的信心,激励残疾人实现自身价值;同时又能教育健康学生理解、尊重、关心、帮助残疾人,使残疾人与健全人一样共享美好生活。课文以网页的形式展示,能够吸引学生的注意力,引起学生的极大兴趣。教学目标知识与技能1. Target language 目标语言Learn new words , useful phrases and difficult sentences in this period 1). ambition, disabled, beneficial, , adapt, make fun of ,all in all 2)but I am very outgoing and have learned to adapt to my disability. Every time I returned after an absence, I felt stupid because I was behind the others. 2. Ability goals能力目标Help students to learn about disability and life of the disabled. Ask the ss to find out Martys advice :“Live one day at a time.”-Marty We can see that Marty is a _ personAsk students to discuss :From Martys inspiring story, what have you learned ?1).We should be patient with people with disabilities. 2)We shouldnt get annoyed just because they are slow.Arrange the homework 1.Tell the story in order of time . before 10after 10 at high school now 2.Find out the change of Martys feelings:3.Find out Martys advice :We can see that Marty is a _ person from the sentence Discuss from Martys inspiring story, what have you learned ?Finish off the homework carefully根据时间讲述Marty的故事,身体残疾的她充满挑战的一生并找出她的情感变化,进一步认识Marty.找出Marty对于“正常人对残疾人的对待”的建议,起到了教育学生尊重残疾人的目的通过Marty的一句话“过好每一天”推断她是一个什么样的人,对学生起到激励教育作用实现本节课的道德教育目标,帮助残疾学生树立生活的信心,激励残疾人实现自身价值;同时又能教育健康学生理解、尊重、关心、帮助残疾人,使残疾人与健全人一样共享美好生活巩固本节课教学目标教学流程图Homework 独立完成布置作业Video、图片引入展示残疾人网站听、快速阅读略读文章细读文章读前热身引入主题了解主人公捕捉信息讲述故事Martys story -Charlie ChaplinLead-in Prereading fast reading Skimming Detailedreading 课件课件课件问题讨论Group work 合作完成课件课件教学设计评价根据教学安排,本课时为阅读课。阅读课是英语教学中最重要的环节,不仅通过阅读训练使学生掌握基本的阅读技巧和方法,同时也是教会学生捕捉相关信息,归纳提炼,为写作训练做好铺垫。在处理阅读课时注重培养学生知识的学习和转化能力。1本节阅读课的设计充分调动了学生听,说,读,写四方面的技能,尤其突出培养学生的阅读技能,使学生的耳,眼,嘴,脑全方位参与到阅读活动中。整节课的设计构建了“以学生为主体,以活动为中心,以主题为线索”的课堂教学模式。该课教案基本能完成教学目标的要求,但是由于要在仅仅一课时的间内按部就班完成所有的步骤,就需要学生在课前做好充分地预习工作,这样,学生在课上能与老师积极配合,并进行自主、合作及探究式学习。2在导入这个环节,我以视频千手观音和学生所熟悉的残疾名人为切入点,引入本课时,符合学生的认知特点,激活了学生应有的知识,激发了他们的学习热情。在读前活动中引用残疾人网站直接进入课时主题。3在reading 部分,我设计了小组讨论为主的学习,弥补了个人学习中遇到的不足,大大提高了他们课堂参与的积极性,这也是我校高中英语课题研究部分,在学习中设计了适量的情景及任务, 在实现任务过程中,视学生的实际水平加以适当的引导,包括必要的简单示范,帮助学生完成任务,让学生体验成功的喜悦。通过本课时学习,可以帮助残疾学生树立生活的信心,激励残疾人实现自
