Unit 9 Section B Period 4教学设计教学目标 知识目标:Vocabulary: busy;fun;useful;difficult;interesting;finish;lesson Sentences:Im very busy on Friday. It is difficult but interesting. After that, I have P.E. at 11:00. Our Chinese teacher, Mrs. Wang, is great fun. My classes finish at 1:50, but after that I have an art for two hours. Function:Further understand the easy form of the letter and be able to describe a favorite day after reading 2b.二、能力目标:1.Improve the ability of reading 2.Master the skill of finding the mainline of the passage. 3.Learn to find the information from the passage.4.Let the Students be able to use what have learned in the writings三、情感目标:1. Develop students good habits of studying and life and the ability to use the multi-media to communicate with others2. Develop students reading and writing interests学情分析 本单元是人教版新目标英语七年级上册第九单元,也是最后一个单元。主要围绕“School subjects”这个话题展开讨论,并懂得询问和回答最喜欢的学科和喜欢的原因,以及星期的表达。学生学过了八个单元的新目标英语,对整个课程的教学模式有了一定的了解,具备一定的听、说、读、写的基础。对于特殊疑问句的句型和相关的形容词及日期的表达已经有所接触,为本单元的学科和星期的表达打下了基础。通过本单元的进一步学习,使学生能够更加熟练地运用目标语言进行交际活动。重点难点 重点:教学目标规定的词汇和句型,能脱口说出各种学科的英文名称,能熟练应用所学句型询问和谈论别人或自己喜好的人和物并给出理由。 难点:仿照2b描述自己最喜爱的一天,并写一篇短文教学过程 教学活动 Step1:Warming-up and revision 1.A student: greetings and doing a duty report 2.Ask and say 1. Ask questions to help Ss to review: Whats your/his/her/ favorite subject? Why do you like P.E.? Who is your art teacher? When do you have math? Purpose 本活动主要是为了帮助学生复习前面知识,并且将学生引进阅读的话题。 Step 2: Pre-readingCheck up the situation of preparing lessons before class.Ask students to read the 2b,and find out Whatsthepassageabout? Whatsthemainidea?Purpose 本活动主要是让学生带着问题去阅读,有针对性,提高效率。 Step 3: While-reading 1. Ask Ss to be concentrated. 2. Get Ss to guess the meanings of the new words in the passage according to the context. 3.Taskchallenge: Task One:Read carefully to find the details.Task Two:Readthepassageandanswerthequestions. Give questions to Ss before they read the passage. 1. Whats Yu Meis favorite subject?_2.
