七年级英语上册Unit 8 When is your birthday?Section A 1a-2d 教学设计灵璧县杨疃中学 赵家友一、教材分析本单元话题贴近学生生活。第一课时Section A 1a-2e 主要通过听说活动让学生感知When 和How 引导的询问时间和年龄的特殊疑问句,并让他们尝试使用目标句型谈论自己、家人或朋友的生日。1a-1c部分通过图文及听力练习导入整个单元的语境、话题、基本词汇和目标语言。学习12个月份,呈现序数词second, third 和fifth。2a-2d部分的重点是听说教学。本部分的听力材料拓展了1a-1c的语言输入,集中学习序数词1st-31st,掌握一个月中每一天的表达法。引入了询问对方年龄和询问第三方生日的语言结构,同时让学生巩固刚刚学习的日期表达法。活动2d引导学生使用目标语言谈论第三者的生日,为随后总结本单元语言结构打基础。二、教学内容1、单词: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, November , December, birthday,1st-31st.2、句型: When is your birthday? My birthday is on May 2nd. When is his /her birthday? It is on January 1st. When is Alices birthday? It is on October 10th.3、语法:基数词变序数词的变化规则。 三、教学目标1、知识目标:能掌握以下单词:January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, November , December, birthday, 1st-31st能掌握以下句型: When is your birthday? My birthday is on May 2nd. When is his /her birthday? It is on January 1st. When is Alices birthday? It is on October 10th.2、能力目标能表述和询问自己或家人、朋友的生日。3. 情感目标:通过对本单元的学习活动,了解朋友及家人的生日,了解庆祝生日的方式,能在家人朋友生日时为他们做点力所能及的事情,构建良好的朋友关系,感恩父母的付出。 四、教学重难点1、教学重点:月份和日期的表达法。学生在谈论家人或朋友的生日和年龄时,目标句型中人称的转换。2. 教学难点:日期表达法中涉及到月份和序数词的使用。 五、教学过程. Warming-up and Lead in 1. Listen to a song and guess its name. “Happy birthday to you.” 2. Free talk. Ask some students “When is your birthday?”“My birthday is in. Presentation1. Watch a video about 12 months.2. Listening 1b. Teacher: My friend Mary, Linda and Mike were born on different days. Now listen and number the conversations. 3. Guessing game. When is his birthday? It is the third month of a year. It is the twenty-second day of a month. It is on March 22nd. Listening1. T: Sometimes there are 31 or 30 days in a month. Sometimes there are only 29 days in a month. Lets play a game about numbers. Who is No.1? If you know the number, stand up and tell me.2. Listening 2a. Listen and circle the numbers you hear.3. I will introduce you my 4 friends-Alice, Frank, Eric and Jane. Do you know when their birthdays are? Now lets listen to the tape, match the names, months and days.4. Check the answers.5. Pair works.
