3B Unit 3 Is this your pencil?说课稿 Good afternoon, everyone! Standing here, Im very happy and excited. Its my great honor to be here to present my lesson. Ill try my best. Now I will say the first lesson: Story time and Fun time of Unit 3 in 3B YiLin Primary School English. Its made up of two parts.Part 1 My understanding of this lesson1.The analysis of the teaching material.Students in Grade3 use the new English teaching material which is more closed to studentsdaily life. And Unit3 Is this your pencil? relates to the real situation about the students. The structures are useful and the topic is interested by the students.2. The analysis of the studentsThe students have learned English for two years and this new series of English teacing material is not difficult for them. So what I need to pay more attention is to design some interesting games or unusual parts to attract students. Help students feel excited and willing to speak Enlish, not talk with others.3. Teaching aimsA. Knowledge aims: To enable the students to read the words correctly and of course spell is better. To enable the students master the structures.B. Abilities aims: To develop the studentsabilities of listening and speaking, to train studentsability of working in groups and foster Ssabilities of communication their invonation.C. Emotion aims: To foster Ssconsciousness of good co-operation and help Ss tobe a helpful pupil.4. Key pointsThe Ss can listen,read,speak and write the words in this unit, and they use the structures to make a short dialogue to talk with others. Pay attention to the word“crayon”is a little difficult for Ss to read correctly.Part 2 My teaching theories,methods and aids As we all know: the main instructional aims of learing English in primary school is to cultivate pupilsbasic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson Ill mainly use“Task-based” teaching method. That is to say, I will let the Ss learn in real situations. And also I will arrange four kinds of activities: singing, playing games, acting and having a competition. And in this lesson, CAT(PPT), school things and masks will be used. Ss should prepare some school things.Part 3 My teaching stepsStep1 Warm up1. Sing a songEnjoy the song “Dont talk, Tom”2. Play a gameWhen Ss see the words or phrases,then read; when Ss see the picture, then clap their hands.(Purpose: It is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by singing and doing some total physical response at the same time, it provides situations to review learned knowledge for the next step.)Step 2 PresentationIll mainly talk about this step.1. Teach the new words(1) A ruler and a rubberT:show one part of a ruler, ask Ss“What is it?”Ss: A ruler.T: pay attention to these two words“ruler”and“rubber”. The first two letters are both“ru”.(2) A pen, a pencil and a pencil caseT: use the same way to present the words“pen, pencil, pencil case”. Ask Ss to find the charactistic between these three words.Ss: The first three letters are “pen”.(Purpose: Teach the similar words together and let Ss compare the words can help Ss grasp the words better, it is helpful for Ss to read and spell, also Ss will feel amazing that Ssinterest in English learning is aroused.)(3) Look and sayT: show some pictures and ask Ss“Is thisthat a .?”Ss: Yes, it is.No, it isnt.T;Its a crayon.(4) Lets guessT: show the school things learned just now one by one, suddently all of them are missing. Ask“Where are they?”T: They are in the schoolbag.(Purpose: Use different way to present the words, Ss will not feel boring, on the contrary, Ss will feel excited and they think English is amazing. Help Ss like learning English.)2. Play a game-Super plateT: use the CAI to let the plate move, when it stops, ask“Is thisthat a.?”Ss: Yes, it is.No, it isnt.T: ask Ss pay attention to the word-“isnt=is not”(Purpose: To present the key structures and words in a game is easier for Ss to learn and grasp the meanings. Also game can arouse Ssinterest.)3. Learn Story time(1) Lead-inT: Look!Mike is nervous. What happens to him?(Purpose: Arouse Sscuriosity.)(2) Watch and answer Whats Mike looking for?A pencil Who helps Mike? Liu Tao and YangLing(3) How do they help Mike?T: ask Ss to read P2 and P3, underline the sentences they help Mike find his pencil.T: ask Ss read the sentences.(4) At last, the pencil is found.T: Mike says“Oh,thats my pencil.”Pay attention: thats=that is thissthis is(5) Lets read(6) Show timeT: ask four students as a group to read the story in roles, then act.(Purpose: Teach the text as a story not only can help Ss understand it better, but also make Ss like the story, willing to read and act.)Step 3 PracticeFun timePlay a gameFind friendsT: Give one student a school thing(a pen, a pencil,.), let himher find the owner.Eg S1: Is this your pencil ?
