Unit5If you go to the party ,youll have a great time教学目标: 1 知识目标:(1).Key vocabulary:agent; travel around the world; work hard; get an ducation; make money,etc. (2) Target language:A:I think Im going to the party.B:If you do, You will be happy.(3). 能用if 引导的条件状语从句作出假设,用will谈论结果。2 能力目标:(1).To train students ability of listening and speaking.(2).To train students ability of communication. 3.情感目标:本课时围绕生活中的一些假设来展开话题,贴近学生生活,符合他们热爱幻想的心理,可以提高他们学习英语的兴趣,积极参与英语实践活动。教学策略和方法:通过pair work和competition,鼓励学生进行if引导的条件状语从句的训练。教学重点、难点:(1)重点句型:I think Im going to go to the party.If you do, youll have a great time. (2)正确使用if 引导的条件状语从句课前准备:制作多媒体课件,准备录音机.Teaching Procedures(教学步骤)Step 1 Warming up and Leading in1. Enjoy an English song : “If you are happy” 2.Ask some questions.Good morning, class. Are you happy today? Yes, me too. Every day when I come into the classroom, Im always very happy. If Im happy, Ill smile, sometimes Ill eat something or talk with my friends.Class, what will happen if you are happy? (Encourage them to stand up and say their sentences.)If you are happy, what will you do?If I am happy, I will smile.If you become sad, what will you do?If I become sad, I will cry.Step2 RevisionGet the students to make some sentences by using some pictures.T:What will happen tomorrow?S:We will have a trip if it is sunny tomorrow.Step3 Presentation1.Show a picture to present the key vocabulary. Get the students to read through the expressions in activity 1.Make sure they understand them.2.Then have the students circle the three things that are most important to them.Then do a quick check to see which things are most important to students in the class.3.Get the students to look at the pictures in 1 and the instructions in 2a and 2b, try to guess the contents of the listening material. Step 4 Practice1. Play the recording for the students to listen, and try to finish 1a. Then check the answers with the class.2. Play the recording again for them to listen and complete the sentences in activity 2b.3. Add one listening exercise for the students to fill in.Step 5 Pairwork and Competition1Show some pictures for students to do some pairwork. A:I think Im going to stay at home.B:If you do ,youll be bored.(1) I think Im going to work until night.If you do ,youll be tired.(2) I think Im going to exercise.If you do ,youll be healthy.2.Competition: Divide the class into two groups and get them try to make sentences by using the words given.if will she, call me, I, tell her about it: If she calls me, I will tell her about it.Step 6 Summary:1.Encourage the students to summary what they have learned, the teacher may give some help if necessary.2.
