LAN This will enable maintenance personnel to view and monitor the system from their office or workshop It will also be the means by which metering data is accessible to the accounting system breakers will be performed from within the substation building in which the switchboard is located This shall be achieved by the provision of an Engineering Workstation in each substation which will be used to operate circuit breakers by communicating directly with the breakers protection relay and control device Such switching will be controlled by password access to the engineering workstation mentioned above it is considered that the 35 kV level may be a different vendor and protocol The switchgear manufacture at 10 kV and below may by different vendors but there shall be only a single
