GreetingsT:Good morning,class.Ss:Good morning,teacher.How are you?T:Im fine,thanks.And you?Ss:Im OK.2.Revision.(1) Teach students the new words in this unit,ask students to read after me.(2)To check their homework in unit 2.Step II Presentation1. Review the new words.(pencil-library)Ask students pay attention to the new words in unit 3 and then read the new words for the class,ask students pay attention to my pronunciation and help students to find out the skills of pronunciation.After that,ask students to read the words and if they cant pronunce well,go around them to offer some help,to correct some pronunciation mistakes.2. Teaching activity 1aT:Now ,dear students, you need to look at the picture ,find out what school things should you buy for her?.Ss:There are eight students and a teacher in the picture. books pencils,a pen,an eraser,a ruler,a pencil box,a schoolbag,a dictionary in the picture.1. T:OK,now,lets learn hers ,his yours mineT:Now,look at the picture carefully.Then answer the following questions:(1) Is this her ?Give students 2 minutes to look at the picture again and think about the answers to the questions.Answers:(1) Its the classroom.(2) Identifying the ownership.Read the conversations in the picture and ask students to repeat sentence by sentence.Then explain a language point for students to understand better.Translate the sentences into Chinese.Point out the differences between “this”,“that”,“these”and “those”;3. Teaching activity 1b.T:Now,you will hear three conversations so that you can know their main ideas.Then I will read the conversation for two times,for the first time,all of you just listen,for the second time,number the conversations,later,I will check the answers.4. Teaching activity 1c.T:Lets read the conversations together ,pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.Then give students 5 minutes to practice the conversations.Encourage them to make their own conversations using the school things in the classroom in pairs.As they work,move around the classroom,checking progress and offering help as needed.Finally,invite some pairs to act out their conversations.StepIII Practice1. Teaching activity 2a.T:Here are several school things in 2a.What are these?Who can tell us?S:There is a pencil box, a pen,two erasers,three books,a pencil,a school bag and a ruler.T:Great.Now,please listening to me carefully and check the things you here,Are you ready?S:OK.Lets begin.Read the things for the first time and ask students to listen and to check the things their hear,for the second time,ask students to check their answers.2. Teaching activity 2bT:First,lets read through the words in the box and the conversation so that you can now its meaning and know how to do this activity.Then I will read the conversation for you two times,listen carefully and complete the conversation with the words you hear.Go around the students to offer help.3. Teaching activity 2cAsk students to read through the sample conversation. Then make their own conversation using the school things in the classroom in pairs.Give students several minutes to do this task.Finally,invite some pairs to act out their conversations.For example:-Is this your pencil box?-Yes,it is.-Is that your eraser?-No,it isnt.Step IV ConsolidationTeaching activity 2d.T:The following is a conversation between Teacher and Anna.First,ask students to read the conversation after me,after that,explain some key points and difficult points,ask students to take notes if possible.Explain the meaning into chinese,and then give students 5 minutes to practice the conversation with their daskmates.Invite two students to role play the conversation,ask others to listen carefully,pay attention to the pronunciation.Step V SummaryIn this period,weve learned how to identify ownership.And weve also learned the use of possessive pronouns.Step VI Homework1.
