Step 2 PresentationShow some stamps to the students and present the new sentences:Could you tell me where I can buy some stamps?Then show some other pictures to the students and presentCould you tell me where I can save money?Could you please tell me where I can get a dictionary?Do you know when I can get some magazines?Step 3 PracticeMake sentences. Use “Excuse me, could you please tell me how to get to?”“Excuse me, do you know where I can?” to make sentences.Step 4.Learn some new words. t/ 1.postcard n.明信片 2.pardon v.原谅 pardon me interj.请再说一遍(表没听清或不理解对方的Pardon? Listen again. Show how the boy walks to the supermarket. Draw a line in the picture in 2a. Then get one student draw the line on the blackboard.Step 6. Theres a bookstore between the bank and the supermarket. The students work in pairs. Make conversations and then act out the conversations.Step 7. 2d Role play the conversation.1.This is Fun Times Park. Alice and He Wei went there. Lets listen and hear where Alice wants to go first. The students listen to the tape and then answer the question.2. Read the conversation together and then read by themselves.3. Role play the conversation.4. Explain the language pints in 2d.Notes:1. You must be excited about leaving for Beijing. 你肯定对去北京感到兴奋。2.I dont mean that. I mean 我的意思不是那个,我是说 mean v. 意思是 I mean thats his own decision to leave. 我的意思是说,离开是他自己的决定。3. But we havent even started yet! 但是我们甚至还没有开始呢! yet副词,意为“还;尚”,常用于否定句或疑 问句中,通常置于句末。常用于现在完成时。 They havent watered the flowers yet. 他们还没有浇花。 5.Try to fill in the blanks in 2d.First the students say together, and then ask them to work in pairs.Step 8.SummaryExcuse me.
