Do you know ? 并用它问路。能力目标听:通过学习本课时的话题,能够听懂有关问路的对话。说:能够准确的用英语问路和指路。读:能够准确的读出本课的句型及相关的对话。写:能够造疑问词引导的宾语从句。情感目标 培养学生的问路和指路礼貌行为。【重点难点】教学重点:能熟练掌握本课时的词汇及句型。教学难点:掌握特殊疑问词和疑问词引导的宾语从句。【教学过程】Step 1 Warm up and Lead in Share a short video then have students to answer what the video is talking about. Next introduce the motorboat racing which was held in Baishan Lujiang last month. Tell them it is an international race. There are more than ten foreign players took part in it. Show two pictures about it to introduce a foreign woman player, Lisa. Then lead into the new lesson by talking about how a foreign player ask for information when she lives in Baishan . Step 2 PresentationGuessing gameShow some pictures to the whole class, one student explains the places in English and another one who doesnt look at the blackboard guesses what place it is. For example, one student says: I can get some money or exchange money in this place, another one guesses it is a bank. Get students to guess the places like bank, supermarket, post office, bookstore, bathroom, washroom and so on.Step 3 Practice Match each thing with a place in the picture in 1a. Read the phrases._ get some money_ get some magazines_ have dinner_ get a dictionary_ get some information about the town_ buy a newspaper_ buy some stamps_ get a pair of shoesHave students finish the tasks and then check with them .Step 4 Presentation Show some stamps to students and present the new sentences: Could you tell me where I can buy some stamps? Do you know where I can get some magazines?Continue showing money, dictionaries, magazines to students and practice the new sentences . Step5 Deal with 1b and 1c1. Teach activity1b.Ask the students to listen and complete the conversations. After that, let the students work in pairs and practice the structures orally.T: Listen and complete the conversations in the picture in 1a. Then check the answers with the whole class.2. Teach activity 1c.This part is designed to train students listening and speaking skills.(1) Invite a pair of students to read the sample conversations. And then read the instruction to the class.(2) Ask students to make their own conversations as required.
