The use of The Past Participle2. Giving a past statement of using the grammar.三、Teaching process. Warm-up Greeting. :1 Good morning,class. Im so happy to have chance to meet you all. I hear you all are very great, I hope youll have fun learning English today. . Lead-in Do you remember what grammar you learned last period? Can you tell us ? (One student: The Past Participle Tense) Yes, pretty good. Lets review the grammar by watching a video.(the structure the target languge). Lead-in Showing the pictures of Marys bad morning 1. Do you remember Marys unexpected and bad morning?2. Lets retell her story according to these pictures?(one student ,one picture, )Eg: Picture 1: Marys clock didnt go off, so she overslept.Picture2: By the time she got up, her brother had already gotten in the shower.Picture3: She took a quick shower,got dressed and ran to catch the bus quickly.Picture4: When she got to the bus stop, the bus had already left.Picture5: By the time she got to school, she realized she had left her backpack at home.VI. Presentation : Now Marys bad morning isnt over. Whats happening next? open your books at page 90,and look at 2a. Lets look at the pictures first. Can you predict the answers according to the pictures?VII. Listening practice(show the answers on PPt)2. Now ,listen to Mary continue her story. And look at 2a first . Listen to the tape for the first time and finish 2a. Number the pictures 1-4 in the correct order. One student gives the answers:3. Listen to the tape for the second time and finish 2b. Fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the verbs in brackets. Then listen again and check your answers. 1. When I _ (get) home, I realized I _ (leave) my keys in the backpack.2. By the time I _ (get) back to school, the bell _ (ring).3. By the time I _ (walk) into class, the teacher _ (start) teaching already.During listening, ask one student to write down the answers on the BbAfter listening ,let all the students the 3 sentences aloud.3. Finish 2c. Make up an ending for the story and share it with your partner. Mary told her the unexpected things she met with this morning but they sound like excuses to the teacher. Therefore, Mary was asked to finish the homework in the class. What an unforgettable day it is for Mary! 2. Please read the example together3 . Ask several students to tell their stories in class. IX. Role-play. Look at 2d. There is a conversation between Matt and Kevin. 1. Read it and then answer the questions:1) Why was Kevin late for class? 2) How did Kevin get to school? 2. listen to the conversation .You can repeat it after it quietly3.
